Yeah the reg script doesn't seem to actually validate. SDK is downloaded. Shame I can't get the brew downloads to work.

I aquired a unique Zeebo a few years ago. It appears that it was given to an executive at Qualcom. The underside is covered in facsimile autographs and the top side has a glowing thank you message. There is also some personalized thank you paperwork that comes with it. I am doing some research on the console and wondering if anyone here has information about these units. I've been to several english speaking sites and so far no one has even heard about such a console. Is there anyone here that can help me? Also, if anybody wants to see pictures, just let me know and I will post some. Thanks in advance. - Ed

You necroed a nearly 6 year old thread when you could have started a new one?

Sounds cool. Can you post pics? It's common for stuff like this to be given as a gift. There are probably qualcomm parts in it, and this unit was meant as a thank you from Tectoy to qualcomm for the business relationship.

You are posting off topic. That's actually bad for the thread. If you think there's an issue, tell a mod.

I have one too, paid really cheap at the time, R$50 (around 23 dollars), just a day before the zeebo store was closed.

I've heard from a former employee that it was on the dev team, qualcomm failed to deliver the intended SoC (GPU+ CPU) (probably Snapdragon 2/Snapdragon 1 800mhz) at the time and it would be delayed, then they had to use a shitty one which wasn't even considered an Snapdragon at the time. IIRC when I asked him if those Zeebo sports tech demos at the time when zeebo was announced were based on the specs/using an proto hardware, and he said yes.

Not sure if those kiosk and dev units seen in images around the month they announced (nov 2008) had an different hardware.
