Tekki/Steel Battalion - for its monstrously gigantic and some what ridiculously complex controller(s) ^ ^

I agree Dreamfall is beautiful eye candy but imho more of PC title than console title?

It's a point 'n' click adventure game isn't it? I shudder to think how the interface would work on a console :\

    Most were named already but:

Conker Live and Reloaded (Best single-player game I played in a long time)
Halo 2 Multiplayer (Lots of fun with too many people)
Thony Hawks Pro Skater 2X (best game in the entire series imho)
Mashed (Lots of fun with 4 people)
Kung Fu Chaos (Fun with 2-4 people)
Outrun 2 (Great game in general, only the arcade version is better)
Crazy Taxi 3 (Like the one above, arcade is probably better)
Amped 2 (It's pretty hard, but also very rewarding)
Burnout 3 (I played the PS2 version too, but didn't like it for some odd reason - it just felt wrong)
GTA: Vice City (The upgraded graphics are great, but I don't like the controls, so PC is still better somehow)

I also believe the best for xbox includes homebrew software like Surreal. I like to play Mario and Zelda a lot more on my Xbox than on my PC or even the real N64 because of the higher resolution.

Sudeki was pretty good. It was ported to the PC a while back but it was only available in Europe so it didn't get a US version, Only on the Xbox it did. A lot of "ONLY ON XBOX" games got ported eventually over the past few years to HD remakes on multiple devices and PC. PC versions will almost be better graphically depending on your specs.

Kotor 2 is the only game I know of that cannot be backed up- atleast completely.

Close to the beginning when you first play as T3-M4, it locks up because the game's registry has one particular file that the disc instructs the system to find in "D:\", and if played off the hard-drive up to this point, you get a black screen with only sound. AFAIK, a patch was never released, and editing the file to make it search in X:\ didn't work either. The beginning has to be played with a disc until you pass that point. Most disappointing, as it's probably my favorite game on the console.

I can't believe no one said these titles, unless I over looked the previous posts- but the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy!

This is opinionated, I know, but isn't the PC the one that's going to get a higher resolution as PJ64 can output N64 in 16:9/16:10?

    ???

I've never had that happen. I've played it numerous times on my softmodded Xbox's hard drive with no issues. Mine was an NTSC-U copy.

I love that game. It had so much potential. I would much rather play an Obsidian made KotOR 3, glitches and all, than play a sequel made by modern day BioWare.

    4th post down.

MANY people had this problem and it arose more back in the day when XBOX was current gen. Not sure what the work around is other than using the disc up to that point. Softmods, chipped, and different ripping programs alike all had the same one issue.

Many believed it to be a sort of corruption in the game, but it was traced down to a file that is told to be loaded off of D:\. Can't really do much with that other than go and load the file off of...well.. D:\

Was it only certain discs? I honestly never had any issues with the game aside from the ones normally in the game. Played it from both the E:\ and F:\ drives, no problems.

No idea- region MIGHT have a difference in how it played out, but both you and I used NTSC-U, and I want to say PAL ran into the problem as well. Media, I don't believe is a factor. I'm not sure if the game itself had maybe a 1.0 and 1.1 release, but if that's the case, I could see the 1.1 being the problematic, but this is theoretical. I was actually going to run to my local retro game store to pick up the last copy of Kotor 2 that they have for this exact reason. Someone long ago in a forum discussion on Xecuter's forums identified that the problem was directly related to a text file that tried to force the XBOX to load a certain file off the disc. Obsidian pretty much discovered anti-piracy on accident, haha. Oh well- having a disc in the drive makes use of my clear drive top I installed. :)
