    Just going to throw them up on eBay with some other junk instead, still shipping HDs requested!

    Depending On Shipping, I could use a power cable and a hard drive.

    I meant power supply as in the internal PSU, no cables are being offered just parts.

    Anyone interested in two huge boxes of PS1 shells? Condition isn't that good and a lot have stuck buttons. I have about 30-40 shells (top and bottom shell only, no screws or metal shields/parts) if you're near Florence, KY.

    Would you consider shipping any remnants of such repair? I mean, any leftovers...

    Unfortunately everything was rusted out and corroded (water damage). I got the SCD to boot once after a deep cleaning and it never worked again (spent about 2 hours trying to diagnose it, nothing worked). 32x was dead as well and the Genesis I chucked into the trash because it was totally rusted inside. Wasn't as much of a steal as you think it was and I knew that. :) So I suppose my answer is no I don't as I wouldn't recommend it.

    If it had that front faceplate for the Sega cd model 1 I would have been interested. Mine has a cracked corner

    Is there something specific you're wanting to see? They were just pulled from two PS2s in terrible cosmetic condition but worked fine (aside from not reading discs).

    I'd hate to see those motherboards thrown away. I could give them a nice home. All of my PS2's are SCPH-39001.

    I've got so much junk it's unreal, I don't ever feel like cataloging it and no one here seems interested often when I post in this thread. I have many tubs and boxes of parts and shells and just all sorts of crap I throw away because it's not immediately useful or not something that breaks often. I have an eBay store for mods is why I have all this and I usually just throw things like that on eBay and do a 100% charity donation so if you have 10 bucks they are yours. :)

    Cool thread! Just the place for a repair person like me to be chiming in.
    I have way too may broken systems that need homes, but its hard to ship. Anyone here in the SF Bay Area? I have:
    * lots of broken NES systems
    * lots of broken Dreamcasts
    * some white broken Saturns (scavenged for lasers and PSUs heavily tho. Some white and black ones
    * some broken Sega Game Gears (badly water damaged)
    * broken PS3 (red light)

    I'm looking for:
    *broken Sega CDs (any model, but especially model 1)
    *Broken sega genesis
    *broken Sega game gears
    *broken Sega CDX, Nomad, etc.
    *other broken stuff

    Do you happen to know if any of your broken DCs have functioning controller port boards?

    Yep they probably all do. I just have a physical injury right now so it makes shipping extremely difficult for me. If anyone wants to pick one up for free locally I could arrange that though. Otherwise it would have to be some sort of trade or sale but even then it's not worth the physical pain for me to go to the post usually. Sorry, I hope I'm not leading anyone on here. If someone wants to be nice and patient and doesn't mind waiting many months, I could put some parts on hold to ship out later.

    Anyone want this Genesis box with insert that was sent to me as packaging? It's in decent shape, but you'll have to use Goo Gone or something to remove the shipping label. If no takers in 3 days it's going on eBay for a charity auction then the trash can if it doesn't sell!
