Just discovered an Irish pub near my work that has an awesome happy hour on Mondays. I had a lot of Newcastle tonight.
Not drunk, but I stocked up with some good alcohol for Christmas and New Year's. Veuve Monsigny rosé champagne, 2009 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Black Stone 18yo single malt whisky.... can't wait to get drunk on that stuff!
Is that Newcastle Brown Ale? It's about the only ale I enjoy, but by Christ the hangover is evil. No idea what they put in that shite to make it so fucking toxic the next day but it can't be good.
I got very fucking stoned last night. Didn't smoke that much, but it hit me hard. Didn't hit my friends that hard, but me, I was very fucked up. I really missed that. Too bad I wasn't able to play Rez or something. I sort of remember we started seeing The Big Lebowski. But when my friends left, I put on my headphones and listened to pretty cool music on random. That Chrono Cross soundtrack has some fucking deep tracks. Also, Happy Japanese music is really fucking awesome. And I've been getting awesome flashbacks to cool music and moments of my past all day - like some areas of my mind hadn't been stimulated in a while. Fucking awesome.
well it is new years day so I am expecting quite a few people to bumble around on this thread saying how smashed they are. I am quite tipsy after celebrating new years day with people in Australia, Japan, Taiwan, China, India amd Europe. Not sure if i can last until the americans (esp those ont the west coast) celebrate the new year. Already drunk 3/4ths a bottle of reasonable scotch.... happy new year to those people still reading this rubbish, typed on a nice NEC usb keyboard that I bought for 315 yen in Japan, which i think apart from the IBM model M keyboards is the best keyboard I have ever used. I mean I am pissed I can't really read well, the white text has a blue/red fringe but still I am typing without spelling mistakes.
Happy new year with lots of beer. Oddly enough, today I drank 4 glasses of beer (I usually drink till 2 glasses) but I was totally ok (somethimes I have problem even with a glass).

Still recovering. Earlier I was reminded just how hellish riding the tube can be when your hangover is so bad you start thinking you're going to puke, don't want to go through that again any time soon.
I didn't have a hangover from new years (I blame my pre-sleep bulimia) but I still feel like total shit otherwise. Looking forward to the psychiatrist this week.
Time to revive this thread......I maybe a little late but I went to see a band on monday in Leeds. I love the city really want to move there at some point. Anyway ended up hitting Vodka Revolution. Drinking 14 flavored vodka shots, 4 or 5 pints, 2 random cocktails, more random shots. Its a wonder I was still going aha.
