I drink and drive on purpose sometimes. Not trashed, but buzzed. I'm a bad person. Side note: excellent night full of positive texts and strides. Weird.
you don't want your insurance to read this post DUI is fun though, no two ways about it. for educational purposes..: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NR32Fv-zfWo&NR=1
I7m well out of it at the moment but in all seriousness you shouldn't drink and drive mate. It may feel great but you could kill someone. Not so great. In Japan we can't drink fuck all if we want to drive which is stupid. 1 pint and I7m just as if I was sober. Anyway, reason for posting here is that isn't it strange that when you're drunk you'll drink the most discusting shit ever. this stuff I7m drinking now is so foul but I keep drinking it. Why???
Because you're too lazy/poor/stupid (choose one) to go and find something that you might want to drink? I won't drink something if it's something I won't like and other drinks are made for drinking pleasure and should be drank slowly like a good single malt scotch or a really good sake. I made a bottle of scotch last over a year, by just drinking a wee dram once a week and made it last over 6 hours...
Over here you can have up to 0.5 promille and they can't judge you. But you are driving in a dangerous way and have 0.3-0.5 promille, the police is allowed to fine you. Anyway, isn't it strange: Bavaria's last prime minister Günter Beckstein once told the press in an interview that the law of 0.5 promille is nonsense as everyone could drive home safely even after driking two Maß (that's two liters!!) of beer on the Oktoberfest. Ask me. A couple of months ago on my civil servant schooling week I drank three bottles of that absolutely disgusting cheap-ass dark beer that somebody didn't want anymore. I've already had quite a lot of good beers prior to those, so this didn't bother me no more. Anyway, I had such a bad hangover after this night, I can barely drink beer at all since this day (mid of July). OH:
Answer is both YES, the edit should be left out here also to make it real funny  goodluck reading all this back years from now.
To keep the buzz going, obviously! It's better though to do that with something that tastes foul because you keep it down a little. I once got trashed on a full whiskey bottle because I kept mixing it with a nice fruity orange drink, in high amounts. Tasted Grrrreat! I mean hey it was a nice geeky evening on the computer as always sync-watching retro movies with over-the-globe friends getting trashed, but the next day was not something to be remembered. Ironicly, I can remember the night just fine but the next day I came down is pretty blurry. And puky. edit: Oh that reminds me, anyone here able to type well when drunk? I hate the stereotype of a drunk being full of typos. The night I described above, was just fine typing wise and im proud to say that! Fuchkin teipohz.
It's possible to type correctly when wasted, especially with high usage of backspace.. tho it's much easier to just keep typing hence leaving that stereotypical drunk spelling. If there is something I hate to do when I am drunk it's concentrate on typing correctly.
That was pretty much just my point, I wouldnt have to "concentrate" because nothing changes typing wise. If you type a shitload every day your fingers whiz over the keys anyway, theres no thought process involved. Only in stringing words together so they actually make sense.
Doesn't really matter how good I type sober when I am very drunk I tend to press more buttons then I intended plus what you mention writing stuff that doesn't make any sense. then I am left with 2 choices: 1. keep on typing in my fuk it i dont care im drunk mode or 2. concentrate/correct it by high usage of the backspace. I think most will go for option 1.
I guess we can agree on that. Worst case it ends in a riddle for the other ... conversational participants.
I tend to type and text better when I'm drunk, I put more effort into it and it results in grammatically perfect sentences. When I'm sober it's more like dude I fckn luv u c u l8r!
Unlike you I don't have issues mixin' it up and getting dirty  Pacific is a 5 min walk for me.. 15 when drunk :katamari: like yesterday night, but i try to avoid typing here in such situations.
How much alcohol can you take before you can't read anymore? Usually I am too nervous even after just a couple of drinks to concentrate on a text. I once tried to read when I was completely boozed and needless to say it didn't work out. The letters literally danced or blurred and even though I managed to read a passage or two, I didn't know the names of the characters anymore. I know there was person X doing Y, but who the hell is X? ^^
