And on the gangster game topic.It brings me back to choice.You dont have to buy those games.Its inevitable something on any platform will come that you like.Im black and I for one know that the image in those so called gangster games is false. Its down right sick.I know that stuff dont belong in games but there is a market for that stuff for teens and idiots. You cant just say thats what american gaming is about.In hip hop there is commercial artists and there are underground artists.The same thing goes for gaming.Theres a huge market for crap commercial bullshit like 50 Cent Bulletproof and the underground is games like Psyconaunts that barely sale 50,000 copies across 3 platforms.

As I said before, if I was at the head of MS japan I would struck a deal with Square for exclusivity, then release a butt-load of H-games (too bad they didnt do it with Xbox, since the X86 CPU would make inexpensive ports of those PC Hgames), date-sims from Nec and others and pachinko simulators with Havok physics (so it looks superior:thumbsup. If after all that sales keep stagnated I would recomend to leave the market, or just resign... About the new "gangsta" shit that all over america, well is a bitch. Funny comment. Unfortunately, all regions make turd games, but Japan still sticks to some genres that are close to my heart, and apparently Yakumo's as well. There are simply no shooters coming out of anywhere but Japan (even those numbers are limited). There's very few games that make me go "oooh"... they just happen to be Eastern-developed. And for those few game, there's two tons of shite I'd never touch.
don't you just love those hand-drawn game covers? I remember the Master System, megadrive, SNES, NES (Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors2 , heh) and GameBoy titles that used to have some hand-drawn love to them. All this CG and computer made covers bore me to tears and lack creativity.
Fabio, in Ironsword, made u wanna buy the game. It was a "man's" game (up to the point u saw the in-game graphics). Swords, a conan-like dude and the likes, brutal Old guys on the cover of shooters? Would that be Escape from Castle Wolf. ? But yea, I do prefer the Super Mariokart cover from the subsequent ones, the Super Marios Bros.3 cover from Super Mario Sunshine, and all the Megadrive Sonic covers from any modern sonic game's cover. Who doesnt?

I've always had a pretty firm stance that "real people don't belong anywhere on game covers or manuals". I play games to escape reality, not to pretend to be in someone elses. That's just me though. On that note, even a Fabio-esque computer generated graphic would still only be toilet paper to me.
Hope they didn't feature midi-esque country songs while you shot the crap out of enemies. Then again, it's KEMCO so I wouldn't rule it out either. Regarding Fabio, I guess you have to give a kid a break, I was 5-6 years old back then
