On topic again.. I wouldn't mind getting an XBOX360 for the current Japaneze retail price.Pretty good offer. Too bad I wouldn't be able to play US games on it though.
Keep this on topic, I dont see what the 360 being hated by japan has to do with Japanese graffiti, PSP Comics, Super nintendo boxarts, nor sega CD games which you were reminded of while reading this topic. It was given to him by Assembler so I'd ask that you show him the same respect you would other members whether you like the fact he has been given this rank or not.
Well you could play... FarCry Instincts Predator Quake 4 Tomb Raider: Legend The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and so on for cheaper than buying them in the states and in english.But if the unit dies your SOL.
And then you could buy Dead Rising, which will probably sell all of two copies in Japan, except it's made by Capcom that may make a difference.
Anyone notice this FPS trend the 360 is going with?I got this system and all I do is play spades and other arcade games with it.American's in general are close minded...Remembers he just insulted himself. It wasn't the variety of games that I was worried about, but the fact that I wouldn't be able to enjoy all titles, including language-heavy ones. In addition, paying any price, including the low price of 175 US greens, and then having your console turned into a toaster or microwave oven, without the ability to replace, can be painful. Given that this is the 360's price in the Japan, I doubt it will rise later on. That means that I would rather be patient for a) a problem free batch of consoles, and b) a boot-disk or mod to be able to play at least US games. XBOX Live I'd love, but can't afford.
