Samsung made a dvd player called the n591. It had a nuon chip in it. It can play nuon games. I am looking for the control pad that came with that dvd player, and the pack in game Crayon Shin-Chan. I would possible buy the whole system too. Let me know if you can find any of this stuff.

Ok yesterday I found Heaven, an underground video game market not far from my original hunting place.

Here is what I can definitely purchase to offer:

Korean Genesis games.
Two N64 comboys in pretty good condition one unboxed, one possibly boxed both without controllers, however the controller is identical to the JP one.
A boxed Neo Geo AES and almost every game.
Any Korean 360, PS2 PS3 title.
Korean Super Famicom games.
Korean NES games.
Unboxed NES comboy.
Sealed and new boxed JP famicom.
The Nintendo disk drive, unboxed.
A clear black sega saturn...JP unboxed.
A few Nes and Snes comboy controllers in various conditions all unboxed.
Two unboxed Samsung Megadrive II in various conditions unboxed.
Korean Saturn Games.
Korean Dreamcast games.
Panasonic Q gamecube new in box.
Divers 2000 Dreamcast unboxed.
A small variety of Korean N64 games.
Korean PSP games.
Korean PC games.
Korean PSP, PS2 bundles (some are quite different from other releases.)


There are also many Japanese systems available some new in box some not.

The only thing I have not come across yet are boxed Korean systems and peculiar titles such as MSX games and Nuon titles, but I would imagine they are there if I ask. I was pushed for time yesterday and many stores were closing up, including one which had a Korean copy of Sonic 3d blast which I was particularly keen on.

Prices for games average between $20 and 50 dollars.

The N64's were $40 each and I would imagine if I offered $10-$20 for the box I could get it.

I took my list with me to search for everything everyone asked for but the problem is where to start. I can now accept the names of specific titles as I know I can find most of them, I also need to know what condition you are willing to accept things in.

EDIT: Also is the Neo Geo AES worth picking up. It's $180 complete in box, the box is a bit worn but I've always wanted one is that a good deal? I can get pretty much any unboxed game for $25.

I would pay a top price for the nuon game and controller I mentioned above. The controller must be in good to excellent condition, and the game must be in good to excellent condition and complete.

If you run into any Famicom games published by Fun Fun Club: http://www.er.uqam.ca/merlin/fd491499/nintendo/nes/funfunclub/ or any Famicom games with Korea language labels, which I'd presume could be Korean unlicensed originals -- none of that imported Japanese and Chinese stuff. Thx.

 

I might be interested in buying some Korean Zelda game. More precisely "hybrid" games release (usa rom inside jap cartridge).

So a little list of what I might be interested in:

Nes Comboy Zelda 1 & 2
Snes comboy Zelda: A Link To The Past
N64 Comboy Zelda: Ocarina Of Time & Majora's Mask

I don't even know if those game exist, let me know what you find out. I would prefer games complete in box but loose cartridge might be OK if boxed game are near impossible to find.

PS: between 20 and 50 bucks is a bit high. Maybe they felt the "he is a stranger, let's make money from him". Try to make prices get down, I mean toughly. Best way is to go there with a korean friend.

 

On a serious note, how do you expect anyone to go through that list finding all the korean games without a decent search?

 

Wow, someone's doing a good service to everyone on the forums. He must be going out hunting again this weekend. I'm also living in Korea and it's good to know that he's finally found the underground place. That place is the place to go for games in Yongsan. I hope you shop smart, but looking at some of the price quotes, it seems you're doing alright.

That underground place is the most likely place to have old ass games. The place at Nambu Terminal hasn't been around as long as Yongsan, so you won't find as many old stuff, but for current gen, I'd recommend going there instead of Yongsan for a few reasons.

BTW, this is my first ass-g post.
