I consider myself a hardcore gamer too, but Dave Perry isn't going to go for the niche market, especially with a MMO (which needs a large audience to be successful and attract advertisers). He wants the next WoW but he won't be making money on disc sales and subscriptions. I reckon it is going to bomb big time, unfortunately.
