    They sound average, nothing special about them, and thats what it takes to be good.

    I'd listened to them before. The minibosses rock! I have some of their medleys. The Megaman 2 one is super cool. The castlevania one isn't bad either. What I really like about them is the fact that it's obvious they've deconstructed the structure of the NES music and converted it to their style, as if they themselves were some sort of midi sequencer. Some NES soundtracks are such works of genius that they sound well in analogue, as well as they sounded from a chip.

    The horrible thing: The minibosses came to Mexico when I was on my last semester of college - and I wasn't able to go to the show. I would have gladly taken the bus to Mexico City... but it was Finals week, plus you needed to have a certain number of "Atomix" magazine as a ticket. That really sucked.
