    Not entirely it's mostly taking traditons from the vikings and germans during the time of Yule and some how making it about Jesus.

    Like I said its a pagan holiday,as for jesus the church picked his birth date to be dec 25th.

    The Early Christians did, you know what they say "When in rome" This way though they could blend in with the Solstice Festivals the Romans held and not be persecuted.

    Hmm,never heard of that but I always thought they did this to win over more converts and yes I know how the early christians were persecuted and then the pagans were persecuted once christianity took over and banned paganism.

    They say in scripture that Jesus was born during a special Sabbath. So that could be 2 times of year either Passover which puts his birth in March-April or
    Jewish new year so that's September-October
