The most complete Saturn expansion cards

This one seems a good candidate: XO 8 in 1 card.

According to this website, the switches do the following:
1. 1M RAM
2. 4M RAM
3. Action Replay w/ 1M RAM
4. Action Replay w/ 4M RAM
5. Action Replay
6. Action Replay w/ Direct Memory Access (DMA)

 

Where’s the Pseudosaturn ?

 

Maybe, but I mean old hardware devices from when the Saturn was in stores.

 

with regards to the Direct Save features I believe there were backup memory cart that supported the feature back then.

 

That's one crazy card but can it actually be used as a memory card?

 

Yeah - it only works in certain positions of the selector switch IIRC, but it's directly supported by those games that can write to cartridge memory.

 

The so called "Direct Memory" mode is what you expected. That means it's not a save backup feature, but directly accessible as a Saturn Backup Memory Cartridge. Japanese company like Karat used similar word in their product like "X10 Direct memory".

 

I have that one but haven't really used coz I couldn't trust it to be safe TBH
