The New Laptop...and the story behind it

Well, all the good ones are alittle crazy no? and I think my antics speak for themselves.

I've been to my share of therapists, so I know.

I'm by no means an Expert on Human behavior but I am pretty good at reading people and their intentions. (contradictory to what said diagnosis I'm disputing says)

 

what diagnosis? what are you talking about? What's 'wrong' with you?

 

I'm tip toeing around it becuase I don't like talking about it, I get pretty angry just thinking about it.

Offically after seeing my doctor and 2 Psychologists it's determined all I REALLY have is a severe and debilitating Depression/Anxiety disorder.

I'm very prone to panic attacks that keep me from functioning properly.

 

So, another nutjob with a television show? Yeah, we definitely need more of those...

You're probably not going to be rich, either. Assuming you get plenty of business, you won't be poor, but you won't be driving a Ferrari around or anything like that.

 

depends I"m thinking more the research end of things. If I get enough clients as a therapist I'll be living quite well but I either get too attached to people or I could care less about them not good qualities for a theripist.

 

Is it allowed to be a shrink with a mental disorder? I'm actually curious for the answer, not trying to wind you up.

 

yeah if anything it allows one to empathize with patients.

 

Wait a minute though, why exactly would it matter if your passport is the ID you used to open the account? It's not like you can never ever write a check if you don't show the passport. Most places you write a check at don't even ask for ID anymore. I assume the store asked for ID, and you showed a driver's liscence?

If you had the money in the account, and the check was declined, then your bank made a mistake and should be compensating you for the time and trouble. Did you have to pay any bounced check fees or any shit like that? Becasue if you did then your bank is obligated to reimburse you for it. I suggest you go to the bank and talk to someone in person, and drop subtle hints that there may be some legal action taken (even if you don't intend to sue, just make it sound like you're considering it. You know, freak them out a bit.) At the least you're not responsible for any bullshit charges from thier mistakes.

I don't use credit cards myself, I advise all my friends to do the same. They're designed to get you into debt you can't pay off, you're better off just paying in cash.

 

Nah your better off having some self control and paying with a credit card. At least in the uk you have much better protection using one.

I still cant understand why cheques are still being used and not a debit card.

 

I like checks. I like paperwork/papertrail.

Also, as a psychologist, a general rule of thumb is that you cannot empathize with your patients.

 

Yeah My bank has been hastling me for months now from how I take my money out and such. 1 more problem and I give them hell, they give me hell back and I'm switching banks.

Second off. 4 of my co-workers are on their way to getting their masters in Pyschology. They tried getting jobs after getting their Bachlors and guess what? no one wanted to give them jobs. Third - Doctor Phil is a JOKE. He's such a fucking joke. he got well known through his diet book...WHEN HE'S OUT OF SHAPE. All he does is talk down to people without being able to accomplish said things himself but people respect him because Oprah rides his fucking dick.

Though to be fair, if someone hires someone with mental issues to evaluate their mental issues they'd have to be crazy. I'm not sure Psychology is an appropriate field for the "Takes one to know one" business structure to be profitable.

 

If the money is in your account, why not just go to the bank and get cash and pay for it in cash?

$5 minimum wage in Washington? Yikes! The minimum $8 here is not enough to survive in CA though.

 

I think he means $5 a coffee... maybe I read it wrong though.

 

I get paid 10 dollars an hour.

I meant - people pay 5 dollars per coffee. I work at starbucks.

Minimum here is 8.60 i think? I dunno, I've always worked at above minimum.
