The new museum is under way. Thanks to advances in technology, it can finally be the level of quality I desire. As a glimpse of what is to come, I present the Sega Saturn PSY-Q cartridge in glorious 14.7 megapixel (note I shrank it down a bit to about half size) Wonderfully insane, isn't it? Due to bandwidth issues I might have to make the ultra high resolution pics available via some sort of paid membership. The normal version won't be crap however. That or make a quarterly CD, or maybe a printed magazine. -A
That's wonderful news, I think we're all looking forward to the new museum... And maybe a quarterly CD like you said can be the best solution if you want to distribute them in that quality. I also saw many sites selling tickets to download a certain number of stuff, that can be what you need, people could start to download the pics as soon as they buy the ticket and you wouldn't need to make and send the discs.
i'm in for the printed magazine + cd. it might help getting some $ for running the place too. BTW i'm sure you can take more polished pics, kev!
Damn thats some big pic I guess with that resolution a tripod is a must, so they wont end up like my blurry images. ^_^ Great to here that the museum is coming along. Sounds interesting with the magazine/CD idea too.
Wouldn't be easier to make a magazine in digital format (.pdf) and then make a FTP for people that pay membership to get the files?
But he would have to spend some bucks as well. With FTP, he would receive money from the files and the digital magazine.
I agree, my company is based solely on the sale of PDF-based reports for 3-figure numbers. We're doing quite well, so very little piracy issues here.
Wow Could you make the picture any bigger, my 800x600 display just couldnt handle it. Nah Im kidding im running 1920x1200 and that bitch still looks huge as fuck. Hahah
