PDFs can be locked down with a password, whether it's requiring one to open the file, print, copy/past text/images, etc. In my day job, we do this type of stuff all the time.
Yeah, you should be able to white-balance the camera for flourescent. You can also load the images into Photoshop, hit Ctrl-M to bring up the 'Curves' window (well, it's Ctrl-M in PS 7, the CS series might have changed that), and then click the 'Auto' button. That will usually do a fairly respectible 'quick-and-dirty' job of color correction (then you can tweak it if you really want to). It will basically do a nice fix, or completely screw it up.. :110: Doesn't seem to be a middle ground on that one... Before I had a light box, I used it all the time. Hell, even with a light box it can still bring out some color in a photo... I usually try it once with every photo I drop in PS just to see what it does to it...
