yeah, Kirin used to be the No.1 beer in Japan until Asahi took over. I personaly like Kirin over Asahi though. There are many types of Kirin beer. There's the Classic in a goldish can and the standard cheaper Lager/Beer in a white can. There are also many different "seasonal types too" such as this on in my fridge right now. This beer is very light so it should be quite easy to drink. Yakumo
Irish cream is even more of an acquired taste than Guinness! It's bearable if you have it with something else, but on its own it's ass. I'm not really a spirits person myself. *Legally* the age limit here is 18, but it's *socially* acceptable at 12-14 - though it may not be a thing you'd want your parents to know. I am talking about Ireland here! I didn't really drink that much until I was 17, though - I got away with using my brother's ID (who was 20 at the time) quite a few times! Now I'm in college though, and there's three bars - on campus! God knows who made that legal! I don't think American beers are that bad - I quite like Miller and Coors Light, anyway. Though the ones we get here aren't really American - they're usually brewed in the UK or Ireland, so they might be a bit different. I'd also recommend Erdinger - it's quite different to anything else I've tried - a GOOD different - though it's €4 a pint here (and sometimes that's only a half-litre when they use the proper Erdinger glasses), and the bars in my college are possibly the only places in this country who have it on draught. I don't think Cider isn't really a "heavier" drink, but it's a lot sweeter than any lagers so you'll probably end up drinking more! I used to drink Bulmers (it's called Magners in the UK) all the time, but I'd always be sick the next day even after 3 or 4 pints! Never really thought of trying Japanese beer myself - never even tried looking for it, but there's more than enough off-licenses in this town to sell some!
Congrats to all people who had their birthday. Hearing a lot of people being older then me makes me feel young with my mere 24 years old :smt042
My 21st Birthday Today - The beginning of the end!! All that's left to do now is get a lass dropping out babies, getting a mortgage I'll be working off for the rest of my life untill I finally pay it off then die ... :angry
I thought everyone agreed that our best beer is Bohemia That is, the best beer that is widely available. There are a lot of beers that are made just for a single restaurant that are very good, like Baden Baden.
It's ok, everyone. If you really look at it, the only point of living is to die! :smt083 Happy Birthday everybody! :smt042
