I just wish the PSP-2000 had external controller support so I could use it as a console. I saw that the PSP GO can use the PS3 controller via Blue Tooth but it sucks as mentioned it has no UMD drive.
My biggest problem with the PSP is the video out, it outputs a tiny awful picture. But from what I can see, this model also lacks the video out.
I guess they decided they needed to put out a new "revision" to make it look like they are progressing, and the only thing left to do was take away more functionality. How much do you think the wifi guts cost? 2, maybe 3 dollars?
Sony marketing at its worst... I would actually consider replacing my kickass PSP2000 for this if they had added proper wifi (as in enterprise WPA2) so I can actually use it with my WLAN. Opera or some other non-fucking-horrible browser would be great too. The matte finish should keep it scratch-free for a while, wonder if the screen its made of glass too, but I guess its not. Now I could see the point of selling this on the so called emerging markets where $99 for a PS2-esque console that you can also connect to the TV would sell a lot of units. But its not targeted at them, it lacks stuff previous versions had, and we are all waiting for the PSV instead. So why the hell are they making this anyway?
