    Hi guys,

since its one of the very few controllers i have been unable to get my hands on, despite having looked for one for several years, i d like to see if anyone in the community actually has one and would be willing to share a few infos on it if available.

The device i learned about was (to my knowledge) shipped through the mid of the PSX lifecycle and was a conductors stick. Quite small, lean, grey and apparently motion sensing, it could be used with the "Maestro music" range of games on the PSX. Thats mostly all i know about it, and i never saw one on EBay or Yahooauctions, so i suppose it is pretty rare.

If anyone has more information on it, suchas where / when it was released, quantities or bundled packs that it went with, or ideally, what a good place would be to look for them, i d be very grateful. I posted this here, and not in marketplace, since what i am really after at this stage is more information about the device generally.

    So, anyone got one? :)

    cheers

I'm sure they aren't that hard to find. I remember seeing them all the time a few years back. I NEVER look at PSX stuff though so I can't tell you how much it goes for but if you really want I can have a look next time I go shopping.

    thanks

Thanks Yakumo, that would be awesome if you could. I have a friend in Tokyo who looked around the usual used "TV toy" shops in Akiba, but he never found any. If you don't have time, but suggestions where to look, that would also be grand.

    thanks again

Hi, I actually won this on ebay with two of the Maestromusic games recently, but I am at a loss of how it works, (or how the games play, anyone know)

now maybe since I'm playing it on a emulator (PSX v1.6) the baton doesn't work correctly, but if I whip it it seems to detect left and right, and there are two buttons on it.

So basically how do you play this game? anyone know?

thanks! I got the christmas edition and regular game.

i'll take some pictures if anyone wants, I couldn't find pretty much anything on google about the wand or games.

I took some pictures. if you'd like any others, of the backside or something just ask, it only takes a second to do it.

btw: I might be willing to sell this if i dislike the game, but i actually bought it primarily to play it, but if it's not for me I know where to go.

oops, forgot to mention on the back it says the following:

    G.A.E.,Inc. Tokyo Japan
    Model: GAE001 Rating: DC3.5V,5mA
    Made in China

I just wish they would bring something like that out over here, im big into music and orchestral stuff, so it would be great to actually be able to buy something in true english XD

I think I will sell the lot, since I am unsure how to play and it doesn;t seem like my type of game.

being new here should i pursue selling them in this thread or make one in the selling forum?

i guess someone could pm me also.
