    Check out [LINK REMOVED]

It uses bit-torrent for its transfers, with the search and fuctionality of P2P apps. Still in beta but looks very promising.

    EDIT: Evil warez! LeGIt

WAREZ? It's a P2P app... What's illegal about the BT protocol? Legit, buddy, you're going overboard on the moderating.

The site had NOTHING to do with Suprnova or warez. It's a completely new p2p app for the sharing of Torrents, which the last time I check was legal as breathing the air around you. This discussion is rediculous. The site was [LINK REMOVED]

Links have to be x amount of clicks from the original link before the host kicks up a fuss. Click 1 = download P2P soft, a couple of clicks later you're dling warez.

It had everything to do with warez, by the fact it's p2p and although the software itself is legal, the content commonly on p2p is not :smt071

As for the other thread who knows, I may not have seen it. I only look at threads of remote interest, which is about half of them :smt1069

P2P apps are 100% legal. How do you know people are going to pirate tons of stuff? They can be used for good stuff too--very useful.

So torrent site links, with only a few clicks to pirate downloads are ok, but torrent P2P apps that require a download are not ?

Hey if thats the rule fine..i'll go with it, just seems a little off to me.

Yeah I kinda agree with you guys. Plus, there's no need for the N-clicks away rule as RoarVGM is no longer our host, if I remember right. Somebody please PM me the name of that program :smt045

you are right that 99% of p2p is not legal but the 1% are legal just some examples

the animation provided for the last mars landing was distributed via torrents also making of from world of warcarf where distributed via torrent and i talk of downloads that where provided from the creators of the material

also many of the huge linux distributions are avaiable via torrents faster then via ftp

its ok to not like torrent or p2p but you shouldnt damn the whole technology just to remember mp3 and divx are now legal build into you common players by big companys (ipod apple and so on) and all started mostly in the not legal field but achieved the jump to legalisation

A tracker is illegal if it has illegal software on it.

The forum rules state no linking to illegal software, ROMs etc., I do believe. We may now TALK about it but not link to a site with them on.

In the eyes of the law, a torrent site has those files on. It is linking to a tracker that has the files, and they take no action to remove those files.

If the site has links to illegal files (and a torrent site does), then it isn't supposed to be on the board. Simple as that.
