Please name the ports you've added for the less experienced.

I been speaking to kortex on MSN his english is very poor.

    In spanish the modifications are:

Frontal de la consola: interruptor manejo lector ( a la izq bajo puerto mandos) y jack audio para cascos o altavoces de pc (dcha al lado de puerto de mandos)
Trasera de la conso: interruptor selector vga/rgb (izquierda del todo), rca video compuesto (bajo selector vga/rgb), salida vga (dcha del interruptor vga/rgb), salida coders cable (dcha salida vga), y finalmente salidas rca de audio.

    In english.

On the front of the console near the controller ports is a switch to control the GD motor on/off (handy for disc swapping without dc knowing lid is open)

On the rear of the console are the composite audio/video ports aswell as VGA - there is a selector switch on the rear to change between the 2 video modes.

Next to the VGA is a standard Serial connector so there is no need to buy a customised DC Coders cable - can use a std null modem cable :smt023

Kortex has inspired me & I am going to do my own mod in a similar vein but neater hopefully :smt023

I'm going to desolder the AV Out and fit a VGA box in there instead. Also I will desolder the Serial port and slide in an RS232 9 pin Male connector. Also, I will add a mod chip, and a single slimline stereo audio jack for using with PC speakers :D Will possibly replace a Controller Port Or 2 with PS/2 Ports for using a half decent keyboard / optical mouse. Naturally I will do a Bue LED mod for the power light, however along the side ridges I have drilled out holes for smaller Blue LED's to do the nightrider thing on power up, and after that to display stats for the L/R audio channels.

Many parts are on the way! Wish me luck!

Hello, my mod is very easy to build, if you usually install messiah 2 in ps2, it's more easy, the schematics is in process, i going to do a guide ( in spanish ) for my web (www.dreamcastspain.com), and i will traslate it for all world.
Thanks Legit for help me with the english, sorry for my syntax errors :D Ahh in the front is a audio jack for pc speakers and headphones (it's correct? "cascos" en español). Well friends, it's all, the next time i add a other fan, and now i'm painting my dreamcast of grey (metal) and black.
Sorry if i don't write a lot in the forum, it's difficult for me write in english. salu2
