    Oh yeah the look cool as hell :-D
    Anyhow, if you're going for a PC monitor and you want RGB 15khz input, why dont you shell out for a XRGB-2? I think they're around 200e so it has the potential of staying inside your budget... although it feels kinda wrong living in SCART country :p

    XRGB-2+ only looks good in RGB and doesn't support progressive scan.
     
  3. That's why they made the X-select D4. Of course after getting both you'll have spent at least $300...

    XSelect-D4 does entirely different things. It can convert VGA/RGB into D (component) or D/VGA into RGB. It cannot upscan. Using both XSelect and XRGB in conjunction will not get you progressive scan because the XRGB still can't do it. If you're going to upscan with a XRGB, theres absolutely no reason to get a XSelect since component video is available on the 21-pin connector. IMO the best use of a XSelect is to convert 15.75KHz RGB into component (since we haven't RGB TVs in the US)
