I don't know about RE:CV, but in general Japanese fonts only support 2 widths - 'full' （全角）and 'half' （半角）- you should be able to display Chinese hanzi using the same rendering code used for zenkaku kanji with no modifications.

It's the Japanese reading of "完全版".

anyway @TriMesh and @yzb37859365, @truemaster1 have change everything in this area and nothing happened during the game with jap version and with us something happened.
do you thing we can only change with 0X1C for half and 0x10 for full ? But the result will be not good with european caracters... How can we change it properly in your opinion ?

ive tried with kazenban 1st.bin and us 1st.bin. the kazenban didnt change a thing in the characters display onlu us change. dont know why. possile that there is other place in kazenban that either predifine vwf or disable it @IlDucci had said that too some pages back
