Yikes. That is like some Backstreet Boys reject effort.

    Capsule - Blue

I found them by accident, and they are fucking amazing. "Screamo/hardcore" does them no justice at all.

No. I know which one you're talking about, but this is a highly technical band. I hesitate to categorize them because it's not really metal and I definitely wouldn't peg it as screamo.

That's their Myspace. If anyone wants to have a listen, "Cobalt Connection" is my favorite song up there.

It does sound a little off in spots, but usually when I notice it it's because he's overlapping with some guitar pattern. I'm not a (professional) musician so I don't know what terminology to use. Either way, he's really, really good, especially when you consider he's not using a double pedal, which is kind of odd considering their style of music.

Edit: Yeah, after listening to it again, I think I know what you're talking about. I'm pretty sure he's doing that on purpose. It sounds like he's hitting in-between the guitar notes, and frankly I think it sounds pretty badass :p.

Edit 2: holy shit the drummer does some of the vocals

Yeah, I didn't mean the drums were bad, which looks like you know what I meant. They just sound odd on some parts, but I think it's something to do with the way it was recorded. The vocals are really low in the mix it seems too, but I likes! Sometimes bad sounding stuff sounds.....not bad.

I can tell these guys love Fall of Troy (Not a bad thing). It's basically a dirtier version of that band.

    They're not that bad.

I like Fall of Troy, too, but these guys are WAY more technical. I highly doubt FoT could play Capsule's stuff.

For the record, I've been playing Minus the Bear. "I'm totally not down with Rob's alien" has been on repeat for the past few days.
