Fever Ray is Karin Dreijer from "The Knife" and her album sound very much like it continues on The Knife's album "Silent Shout"... great music.

 

Strapping Young Lad's discography. How the hell did I miss this band? They're great (as is Devin's solo stuff).

Love Lost in a Hail of Gun Fire - Bleeding through. Great song especially the version on the album which is much better than the editited version used for the video.

Also listening to Blooddrunk by Children of bodom which is a good song but i really should give the album more of a listen as on played it all the way through twice.

I sat through the first bit of it and don't remember any of the songs....I'm guessing it's lacking vs there other stuff?

 

Their new stuff just sounds like they've run out of riffs, so are re-using their old ones - badly. They sound like a Children Of Bodom tribute band...

Don't get me wrong; their new stuff isn't bad, it's just not on the same level as their previous stuff.

That's a great track - an impressive collaboration. There was a torrent somewhere on the 'net with that, a few different versions and all of the original songs on which it was based.

I really hope there's more like that.

HIM - Gone With The Sin (live from Turku 2002)

Normally this song is quite good but the live version i have on now is just amazing because of the way its played and the fact the crowd are really into it all the way though, also the kinda solo part from Linde is amazing.

Got AFI - Decemberunderground on which i used to listen to alot when it came out and when i went to see them live but not listened to it in a while so forgot just how much i liked it.
