I only have 1 console, my beloved Sega Saturn. Inside it is Marvel vs Capcom. A few days ago I was showing it to a friend who had only played the PSX version of it, and I obviously was telling him how good it is to play MvC on a console that can actually handle it
And I've been playing Half-life 2 on PC

No, I got one last night, for $180 Canadian. Pretty decent, but it's hardly truly portable. It's big and it's heavy.

Heavier than a Game Gear aka the brick? I didn't actually get to hold it in my instore play test...EBgames isn't that stupid. :smt043

Feels about the same tbh. But of course the DS is hardly as wide.

    But damn, it is thick.

Portability-wise - as in being able to practically carry the thing around and be able to slip it in small spaces snugly - I think the PSP will win out.

And honestly - the DS is pretty ugly.

Yeah, won't argue on the ugly part--the DS is a beast! PSP looks slick. (but the rehashed PS2 games aren't...)

Right now? This might take a while. I've got all 36 of them hooked up at once in this jungle of wires.

    Nes: River City Ransom
    Snes: Metroid
    Genesis: Thunder force III
N64: Geoman 64, but I can't play it because my brother took my controllers
    TG16: Dungeon Explorer
Gamecube: Godzilla Destroy all monsters (Damn I love Godzilla)
Dreamcast: Street Fighter 3 Maximum Rush
Saturn: Nothing- can't find any decent Saturn games around here.
3DO: Star Control II. Haven't messed with the 3DO in a while
SMS: Alex Kidd in Maricle World. Still got to love the classics
    PS1: Mega Man 8 (still don't have a PS2. For Christmas, hopefully)
GBA SP: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
    Game Gear: Sonic II
Lynx: Rampage (the best version of Rampage in my opinion)
Jaguar: Cybermorph, becasue that's the only game I've gotten around to getting for it.
The rest of the consoles are sitting in the back under the coffee table, with a towel over them to keep the dust off. I've got to get an entertainment center or something.

It's not the same size as a GBA at all. Same length as a flipped-open GBA, yes, which is pretty damn big for a portable.

And when I say 'heavy' it's not in reference to it being 'heavy' in the sense of a brick of lead. I meant heavy in reference to its being a portable - for a portable console, being stacked against truly portable consoles such as the GBA, NGPC, Wonderswan and GP32, the DS is too damn heavy for a portable.

I used to love Quake3 as well. Specially Team Deathmatch.

But after my cd got scratched (my stupid brother did it), i haven't played anymore.

I was looking for a used copy but nobody wants to sell.

By the way, tell me about it today. Lot of servers? Patches are still being released?

its not as populated as ut 2004, sure, but there's a still a lot of people to play withand a ton of clans and new ones everyday , that's pretty impressive for such an ''old'' game. and you don't really need to search for long for servers too. :)
you're missing something if you love quake 3, there's still breath in the beast! plus , you can easly pick a version of it with is expansion for 9.99 new if you search well. Such a classic for this price!
    :-D

can't answer your question about the patches though.
