I remember my friends who would get sick from playing Quake 3. I didn't, but I thought the game was pretty crappy in comparison to Unreal Tournament. That's the king of Deathmatch shooters. Halo 2 wishes it could be that good. :smt043

 

i personally think quake 3 beats UT, but that's my opinion.

why? well, the maps are pretty well designed and there's plenty of littles details that can be use at your advantage, its not just about shooting everywhere, its (a bit!) more subtile. you need to know maps and all their little details

the weapons are more balanced too. and don't forget the freeze team deathmatch! :smt045

 

Not wanting to turn this into a UT vs Q3 war....But I'd have to agree that UT is far superior :smt023

I prefer the weapon balance and gameplay of UT....not to mention the maps. Plus UT has assault mode....which I loved to death ^_^

Only positives I can think of for Q3 were the M4A1 Pulse rifle model and the Bruce Campbell model/soundpack (Hail to the king, baby :smt033 )

mr bones... i heard thats a pretty fun game, any opinion?

 

I have it and personally I don't like it at all. The different levels all feel like a bunch of mini games put together in one giant package which gets repetitive fast.

PC: Battlefield Vietnam, but I was also pwning playing against my brother on General Chaos last night. I really need to get a real Mega Drive!
