Why the hell is paypal being really annoying??

I decided to sell an item on eBay and my idea was to use part of the funds i get after the fee's to pay for a courier collection online via PayPal so i know the item gets delivered but Oh No PayPal decides to hold the payment therefore i'm unable to send the item for a few days until i get money in my bank account.

All i wanted to do is use the money i'd get in my PayPal from the buyer of my item to set up a collection and delivery of the item since i knew i wouldn't have money in my bank account if the auction ended in the 7 days and someone one it or someone used BIN.

i know its not that big of a problem to me its really annoying.

 

Been down that road when I sold my PS3.

 

Oh yeah, I know those fuckers. They can at times REALLY mess your tickets up, heck I still remember getting seat tickets instead of standing tickets once, but thank goodness they got switched to the right ones, and I enjoyed the concert. Or did I .. fuck I think those tickets were the INFAMOUS tickets to the concert in Aarhus. But that was not the tickets fault, that WAS Aarhus fault. But damn, it is crazy, that I still remember that trip so well. But at least you bought your tickets from a real company or at least that was the intention. Meaning, it sucks they made a screwup when it comes to you mate.

 

I emailed PayPal and the best advice they could give was to get the buyer to leave positive feedback.

Why would the buyer want to leave feedback on an item he has paid for but doesn't have since it hasn't been sent, i know if it were me i'd want to get my item first then leave feedback which is what i do normally on ebay anyway.

I guess i'll have to wait till tomorrow then be out of pocket till i get the fund available to me then i'll have to wait for some to transfer to my bank account to make up for the money i spent.

If you're sticking to the hardcore anti-piracy line that's fine, but there are other threads active right now where piracy is not just being discussed in vague historic and theoretical terms, but including practical details on how to hack a modern console to play backups. The moderation here has always been inconsistent at best, but this is plainly silly. Is discussion about piracy permitted? It's a pretty simple distinction.

 

Lots of past talks about piracy, etc. always lead to many flame wars. I guess, discussing it here is better.
