Well, to tell you the truth, the day US legalizes all drugs, My country for one, will be greatly benfited. Its no coincidence that port towns have the most druggies and its very evident how hard the drug trade hits them. The 2 main towns where they move stuff to the US is golfito and nicoya and both of these have SO many crackheads everywhere in the street, atleast golfito and everything from their up. In nicoya, you just get a massive influx of cocaine into the reigon and its really messing people up.

My country isnt a big consumer in drugs, but they are so available now just because they need to be moved up to the US, that I firmly believe shits gonna get bad here. When I say there are alot of drugs here, I mean alot, and the demand wasn't ever that strong, but now its going way up.

Big business in drugs, legal or not, so atleast help the government and its people make money out of their own stupidity, instead of giving the money away to criminals.

Also, cops are crooked as fuck here. Narcos are penetrating important sectors of the public police force, so that cant be good either.

I'm curios in other members opinions on drugs, Also I am a big time pot smoker, but I think cocaine is just a retarded drug. Never tried anything other illegal other than pot and probably won't.

Big difference between opium ecstacy and meth. They all still make you retarded if you take too much, with meth it just seems like its instant.

I'm against drug use in general.
It's fine if you need it as medicine, but I don't believe it's a good habit for healthy people.

Regarding "social" drugs, I'm very much against tobacco; but I have to admit alcohol is nice (when drank in moderation).

My view on "heavier" drugs is a zero tolerance policy. I don't even think people should try them.

Having said this, I would like to try Opium (in the form of Laudanum or something of the sort). This is very hard to come by, and would probably do nothing to me since I found out during my nose job that I'm resistant to opium based drugs- so basically, no morphine, *******, etc would work on me.

If I ever get seriously sick, I'm gonna be so fucked up pain-wise....

I'm completely in favour of drug legalisation. Just as LEo's country, My country is getting seriously unlivable due to the government and law enforcement being corrupted "legitimate businesspeople". It's insane.

Portugal legalised and it generally works well. Frankly, drugs being Illegal in Mexico only serves the purpose of crooked police officers extorting brown-looking young people by planting evidence.

Also, I am very fond of weed.

amphetamines have been used for ages to help people in mid amounts.

    Example: vicks nasal inhalers

Now they dumbed them down and they do fuckall.

The key to any enhancing item is moderation.

We routinely used caffeine in coffee, alcohol in cold medicines, amphetamines
in cold medicines (contact, flu medicines).

To go beyond that is basically an admission of unhappiness and the
need to alter your mind state to be happy. At that point you need to
rethink your life and make changes.

I'm for the legalization of certain drugs like pot, ecstasy, steroids, and to be some extant cocaine. I am absolutely against the legalization of crack, meth, acid and opiates.

Legalising drugs won't stop drug dealers. Certain governments would just tax the hell out of any legalised drugs just as they have with cigs and beer. When I smoked I never bought them from a shop, always got cheap smuggled cigs for half the price, do you think it would be any different with drugs?

The only thing legalising them would do is make them more publicly acceptable, as alcohol is (even though in my opinion it's the worst drug). This would then make people who generally wouldn't go down the drug route tempted to toy with them too.

I'm not against drugs by the way, I've taken pretty much every illegal narcotic around. I don't take any now mind you, but each to their own.

Legalizing it is stupid. It will give drug dealers more control. Have you guys looked at the pharmaceutical lobby? Imagine the mountains of cash they doll out to the politicians to get their way. Imagine the mexican drug cartel doing the same thing to them? It's just money to them.

Do you guys really think legalizing it will get rid of the residual effects of drug trafficking and distribution and control? You'll still have gang wars. It's just that there will be no stopping them because the product will be legal to sell/distribute. So, think about it. The gang-bangs won't stop.

What's going on in Mexico should stay in Mexico, as well as in Colombia, Guatemala, etc.

Fucking car bombs are blowing up just south of Texas/Mexico border and you guys want to legalize it? Yeah, I don't want to happen here.

Screw drugs, just get a girlfriend (etc).

If you get a good one, you can have as much fun as I do and watch Battlestar Gallactica every evening for a week straight.

Agreed, sex is the best drug substitute ever.

It releases endocrine "drugs" such as adrenaline, endorphines and lots of other chemical substances that make you feel awesome without the brain smashing part.

That is of course, provided your partner gives you an awesome experience...

I don't agree. No one is going to go to a scumbag pusher to get his weed when he can just go to the corner drug store and buy it in a pack like cigarettes. Drug cartels have a lot of money, but compared to the tobacco and alcohol companies (who will be the ones selling the recreational drugs) they are small potatoes.

People are weak creatures with no self control. Unregulated drugs will result in far more addicted people and crime. A legal high must still be paid for somehow.

I saw someone have a really bad trip once. It convinced me that hallucinogens like acid are just too unpredictable person to person to be legalized.
