A rant that has been boiling inside of me for a while now.

Qbix is a wanker and a tosser of rank, I know him from another forum where a LOT of members including me, basically begged the admin (Qbix none the less) to ban a member who was and is still ruining that particular forum. And Qbix did the worst thing ever, he locked the thread, and ruined it for all the "good" members in that thread. And the only reason why that particular member was not banned is this, I personally think the member I am thinking off, has sucked so much up to Qbix, that the member is home free to ruin the lives of the good information and what not contributing members . Why am I not mentioning the name of the member ? Well because I do not want to start another flame war with that member on this forum(if he is here under another alias). The last time I checked, then Qbix was not the maker of DOSBox, but Harekiet. Unless they are the same guy, which would extremely scary.

But I am serious about one thing, and that is Qbix is not very sweet. Sorry to rant in this thread, it has just come to my mind quite a few times by now. That some people are a bunch of fucktards, no matter how "good" they have done to the community. And what forum am I talking about ? well the forum known as vogons. And I like that forum, when I need to find some good info about old PC hardware, whether it is an odd graphics card, or a soundcard . Anyway rant is off now.

Swaaye, probably knows what member I am thinking off, on vogons, who has fucked up more threads, than me on this forum in the past.

 

Here is the story, early 2010 Kevin, the owner of assembler threatened to shut down the Xbox 360 section do to elitist attitude and flaming / flamebait. I offered a solution to appoint moderators, he offered me the job but I turned it down and instead recommended pikkon and Hl7 as moderators. This worked for some time up until recently kev then decided he was going to close it down again. I don't know what happened to the original plan but he unknowingly appointed moderators of the very cancer that was killing this board. Namely friends of those whom were responsible for killing hundreds of kits by making the famous bricking recovery. When asked at the time what the purpose of this was they responded they do it for the lulz. Sonic Iso and fallen being the people responsible. Soniciso was removed from this board but fallen continued to post at which point a topic was derailed with things I found very racist and very nerve racking knowing he was with sonic in releasing the bricked recovery. At which point I turned to a moderator politely asking it to be cleaned. Instead the moderator responded that "he only cleans up flaming and nothing else" I told him if he wasn't going to to take action against rule breakers then to resign. After this request the following ensued.




There is more but the pictures that were edited into my post by kiwidoggie were too explicit to show including pictures of peoples dicks and more.

I am now without a doubt beyond reason that the 360 section should be shut down as the elitists not only post there, but they now have the keys to the whole damn section.

 

I believe Gabe__K is not Gabe_K. It is either fallen or sonic-iso they are using inside jokes as flamebait including Hybrid360, and other inside jokes that only they know about.

I wont condemn all of them. I'm sure there are a few upstanding human beings among their ranks. LL seems like a very reasonable and knowledgeable guy for one. But it seems like the VAST majority of them are 12 year old uber-nerds who are spending thousands of their parents dollars buying this shit, and then being COMPLETE and utter douches about everything related to it. No wonder its so hard to find information on modding a damn xbox...

Breaking other people's hardware? You have GOT to be fucking kidding me. Save the drama for the playground, kids. The grown ups are trying to have intelligent conversations.

Well I was correct the original notion turned out to be true, it was sonic-iso and his buddies. I hope Kevin passes better judgement upon who he lets in as moderators. Truth be told people who know what they are doing are the opposite of whom should be moderators, I believe that if there are people to be appointed it should be people with no knowledge of the scene and only interest being to enforce the rules. Unfortunately that is not what occurred and now they are overrunning this entire board. If anything the whole 360 section needs to be shut down to prevent this cancer from spreading as it did with sonic-iso aka Gabe__k (two underscores).

I asked kev to be a mod of the 360 section mainly because I wanted to help out and because I had a genuine interest in learning more about the system....it's a shame it's been closed down and I did try my best to clean it up, sorry guys :crying:
