Hey guys, I thought you'd like to see a funky promo photo of a cancelled Jaguar game :icon_bigg There's a really brief clip I have of the two signing this photo back at the 1st annual E3 trade show. I'll upload it soon to my YouTube channel. As you guys may already know - all four of the actors starred in the first two Mortal Kombat games. Enjoy
I was actually kind of looking forward to this game back in the days. There was never much information about it (aside from the fact that they'd stolen some of the Mortal Kombat actors), so no one really noticed much when it died... but the Jaguar really could have used a decent fighting game. Or at least something better than Ultra Vortek and Kasumi Ninja. As cheesy as it looks, it could be a whole hell of a lot worse. --Zero
Actually, if Atari had survived another year or two, this game almost certainly would have come out. It wasn't really cancelled so much as it was a casualty of the company's collapse. --Zero
OT, but did any of the women who did mk / this ever do "exciting" pics in any magazines? My second brain is in control right now
apparently the chick who was sonya in MK3 did: Does that mean she ever did a playboy spread??? i dunno. Gives you something to be optimistic about at least ASSEMbler.:icon_bigg

WOW!!!! @ Herman - That is AWESOME buddy! Im really into Jaguar collecting and find stuff like this very interesting. Thanks for sharing
There are several unreleased prototypes of this game floating around. It would make a great release for Jaguar fans. I believe the company behind the game is still around today even.
Wow, why didn't this come out? You would think if it's in the same league of "great software" as Batman Forever and Primal Rage...
If i remember correctly there was this guy over at AtariAge who apparantly has a version of it, But its been very long ago since i looked into this, so i might be mistaken. But as a 2D MK fan I seriously want this game, sure it might suck but its a part of MK history, with Ho-Sung Pak and Katalin Zamiar and all being in it. And yeah last time i checked the company was still around, has anyone ever tried contacting them and seeing if they would like to release the game?
The game could be completed, i think the source code exists, and yes there are a few who have the beta from AA and JSII, but i believe it will not be released because the actors would have to get paid royalties or something before it could get published. If the actors could be contacted a deal could be worked out possibly. The game looked very promising and there are a few youtube videos out there showing it in its early state.
High Voltage Software is around, but they have threatened legal action to anyone who distributes the game, from what ive heard.
Weird, Its not like they will ever end up selling it or something. (though i'd buy a copy if they did)
