There are a couple of binaries relating to this game that were purchased on a dev kit from the HVS.

I) A playable beta with 4 playable characters and 6 different backgrounds, by all accounts it's still far, far from complete.
II) A weird maze like arena with pictures of two of the characters on some of the walls. I am guessing this could have been similar to the maze in Kasumi Ninja - the explorable part of which was eventually dropped.
III) A background image viewer.
IV) A background with an AI controlled fighter performing moves.

There are also a few more that appear to be lesser versions of I) with fewer characters and missing images.

I think the person who bought the Dev Kit also had disks with assets on relating to the game from a source other than the developer. At one point he was hoping to finish the game (a lost cause by all accounts) but sadly High Voltage never provided the source code they had promised and were against any prospect of allowing the little we have being released.

 

After seeing the youtube video. that game really really looked like an MK copy... wonder if there would have been any possible legal issues with Midway had that game been released (the one figter looks almost exactly like Johny Cage).. anyway i also remember hear a little about this back in the day.. I really need to dig through m old magazines to see if i can fina anything eles about this (and 50 otehr things as well)
