The "Nintendo No Control." Nintendo felt that games have become too complicated, with the whole interacting with things happening on screen, and they felt they would simplify the process by removing control entirely from the player. The creators of Xenosaga seem especially impressed with it.



Or... I guess, you could consider it a blank for some real photoshopping.

I was going to do a screen image, but I got bored blending the vibrator in, so left it as is.

 

OK, Here are my efforts:

1. Argh, quick job this one! Thanks Tachikoma for the inspiration... I thought there should be more interaction between controller and screen... that's Nintendo's point with the thing, after all

OK, here's my other one... because, once I'd got over the remote controlness... this is what dawned on me.

Imagine a conversation at Nintendo.....

".... Nah, they'll never notice where we borrowed the design from... trust me! They'll be too busy pissing themselves laughing over the fact it looks like a TV remote! Just to be on the safe side, though, rotate the middle buttons round, and add a couple of buttons....."
