I collect Poke'mon cards, Digimon cards, action figures, and build Gundam Models (mostly Master Grade stuff). I have maybe 200 Blu-Rays, 4,000 Poke'mon cards, 1,000 or so Digimon cards. All of them are in binders, so they don't take up much room.

But game collecting is my main hobby next to headphones. For those of you who don't know, I am an audiophile. All my headphones, DAC's, and headphone amps are valued over the $1,000 mark each.

If anyone is interested, I an snap a shot for you all.

Other than video games I guess I only collect software (ie. all versions of a particular app), but it has to be an app I really "care" about... so I'm not sure it can be considered collecting :p

It's not exactly an avid collection but I did in the past few years acquire the habit of, whenever I'm vacationing or visiting a large body of water, diving up a particular stone or pebble of my liking and bringing it home as a keepsake/paperweight/lucky charm-kind of thing. I like to "find" them in my bag or on my desk every now and then and be reminder of sunnier climes.

Cufflinks. I have about twenty pair, way more than I would need already. They can get very expensive, but I try to get vintage ones that are still nice (in a non-tacky way) or special. I was stoked to find Mad Men-style blocky brass-and-glass "Modernist" ones - with fat chains that have completely gone out of style - in a Brussels bric-a-brac store for a pittance the other day. Girls don't like them :p

Finally, special-issue 2€ coins. Right now I have about thirty of them, all acquired from normal circulation. Just takes a bit of checking every time one gets change and it makes for a fun surprise when you find something.

Coins, paper currency. About it short of video games.

Rather hard to get foreign currency without paying a pretty penny for it from a dealer or actually traveling.

A few years back, we found my father had stashed some money in different places and years. There was a time in which Mexican money would become useless in a few months every so often because of inflation or devaluation or just plain government corruption.

We now have a huge stack of Mexican currencies from several time periods, which were each very valuable at some point, and turned into useless coloured papers at different times.

That and the time someone gave me like several thousand pesos for my birthday when I was a kid, and I was never allowed to spend it... and many years later, my mum found the envelope and it was full of useless paper that once could have bought tons of stuff.

    Man, fuck the third world.

Anywho, would you be interested in seeing some of my useless Mexican money?

    I have a hoarding problem...

Collected the 1997/1998 Pokemon Card Series because that is what I grew up with, would like to frame it someday so it doesn't have to hide away in a file.

Kind of collect model cars (1:18) - only Porsche, Ford (XA, XB, XC models for now), Toyota/Lexus (Supra & LFA only).

Supra car parts LOL can never have enough spares really...

Sure, that sort of thing is why Zimbabwe currency is rather interesting. I take it the Mexican government doesn't honor the old currency or did inflation just make it worthless?
