    Nice. Does it work?

What about someone playing the Super Mario Bros. theme on some type of wind instrument in the park? Only Japan? Even if not, it was horribly cliche'.

i don't know yet..first i had to smuggle it unnoticeable into the firm (under my jacket), to not appear like the last otaku on earth.
have to try it later. but if it doesn't, i will make it to do^^

My Saturn that I use now was found in the same way but in a pool of water in the pouring rain. Still going stong to this day almost 10 years later  !

I have seen consoles on the street back home.

I was in a Chinese restaurant in Shinagawa yesterday tucking into some "supaa supaishi udon" and they were playing the Bleach soundtrack completely nonchalantly!

Closest thing that's happened to me: A small pile of Spectrum +3 disks in the street.

In a way, I wish I had kept them :(

This is how I ended up with my first Sega console. A lovely boxed unit with several games left for the rubbish, just 3 doors up from where I lived. There is something very satisfying about finding a working, complete console just lying in the street. Still works, still in use.

I've never found any videogame related items in the streets myself but I know people that have found complete and mint consoles in the streets of residential high class areas.

I suppose they get tired of 'em and buy the newest console.

The only gaming-related thing I've ever found in the streets was an empty PS3 box some months ago, but one of my friends found a functional (and full of dirt) Master System II, with one controller and the classic Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

Last year in Greece I found a Mega Drive and a Nintendo 64 next to a stuffed garbage bin. They both work and look fine.
