You know you can just throw the key over to someone and activate it? My friend did that for me now, since I don't use PayPal on Windows.
i only use paypal for online transactions, normaly use windowlene blindes or curtains on windows. i done the transaction in linux then installed steam again and activated the keys on windows, i've only ever been stung by paypal once when someone somehow tried to use my paypal to pay for runescape... never been so insulted, they could have at least tried a better game. but paypal quickly locked the account and i got my money back. have changed all details since.
This is totally accurate! I have no idea how they continue to make money. My friend purchased a copy of Pit Fighter for the SNES. He paid full retail, which was like $50+ dollars. Same day, he ended up trading it back to the store at a loss because it was so crappy! EDIT: And yes, Humble Bundle sold out. Steam keys only? No Linux Support? PASS!
True, but I thought he was talking about if someone had a "giftable" copy (i.e an extra copy of the game that Steam sometimes gives you to give to a friend). Steam is the only digital distribution service I use, and I don't use Linux, so this bundle came up fireaza
So, they added Titan Quest as a new "beat the average" game, as well as the RF:A DLC. I've actually heard TQ is pretty good. You only get extra games on Steam in like 3 or 4 special cases (mostly Valve games) anyway.
If you already bought it (and didnt beat the average) you get those too. Its only new purchases that need to beat the average
sensorship in germany seems harsh im not worried about missing out on titan quest, not really my kind of game. so all is well in the world, also for anyone who got this and has an ATI/ AMD card, the new beta drivers claim to offer a performance boost on a few games including Metro 2033
They added Dawn of War as another extra game. Meh, it's a great game but everyone probably owns it by now since it's always on sale.
I know THQ is on fire, not the good way but the "I just lighted myself on fire with gas" kind of way Is Mark still around? he used to work there, maybe has a few comments on this
Not regretting buying when I did. I'm also eligible to claim Warhammer 40k, I've already got the game on disc but inflating the value of my steam account isn't a bad thing
