An amazing find. This was actually one of the titles I did plan on buying for the DC after watching the trailers. I hope you can put together a nice quality video for us all to see.

This is great! I hope there is a dedicated fan base that can get this working on a retail unit someday! Was this one of Smilebit's Dev kits? If so, that is huge!

Amazing find, well done!!! Perhaps our resident dreamcast wizards could help you getting the alpha working? You seem quite the expert already ;)

A very nice find indeed, but before you add any other files for various tests with the GD-M I'd strongly recommend doing a file undelete of some kind too. I personally use File Scavenger but there are plenty of other programs out there but make sure you recover the files off the GD-M onto a different storage device or you will risk overwriting them and losing them forever.

It's how I found the unreleased German SKU sound files, another alternate title screen and another beta executable for Evil Twin Cyprien's Chronicles. If there is a visible build on the GD-M there could be hidden / deleted files for other discarded games or builds too :)

I remember preordering this game for the original Microsoft Xbox back in the day, in part because of its history and in part because it was also one of the early games to have some form of Xbox Live enabled too. I can't say I thought much of it back then but it was at least mildly entertaining in short bursts :p

You forgot Shinobi which ended up on the Sony PlayStation 2 :p

I've already made an bit to bit copy of the disk before I did anything with it, and used R-Studio Data recovery (Technician edition).
To my dissapointment there where no deleted files to be found..
However i will try to search for stuff with an HEX editor on the disk image :)

Nice digging!, as far I can see there is no option for multi dreamcast play :(
Maybe some debug console can be spawned so it is possible, but I havn't found that yet...

But there is an multi-player via splitscreen in this buld that works.

Also me a friend of mine played it till Level 10 so I think that at least 24 levels are playable.

    Status update :
I've tried to make it boot on an dreamcast emulator by creating an selfboot, however after the SEGA Logo the system reboots.
If there are any suggestions, please let me know :)
