I may be new here, but I am a member of many forum's and have dealt with a lot of sales and scams. I feel I should speak out a bit here.

Honestly with what went on in the 1.5 for sale thread, I think GTRb's should be just banned already. He was dual accounting, posting a fake sale thread, broke rules, and started a giant rage fest. I am surprised he isn't after he caused that huge ruckus. Despite what he has said, I find this behavior unacceptable. And even his response to subbie in this very thread should not be tolerated. Mods and admins, you should just ban him and get it over with. Everyone can move on then.

 

Do us one better. Feel free to leave this site. Everywhere else is so much better for you there isn't a reason you should stick around.

They aren't. They're taking my word as a Moderator (who has access to additional tools others don't). You on the other hand have nothing to stand on. It's rare I ever turn on a user but in your case you've hit my limit. I have more then enough reasons to ban you but have other good reasons why not to. You on the other hand are more then free to just leave and go else where.

 

Another random attack again ? - You have miss out the good reason which I explain it a year ago. This little video clip is been around very long time as for 12 years. You could have explain this to me at lease a year ago then I would give a straight answer.

This video is pretty much focus on All Hallow - Why ? I guess it the real relocation in London as Journalist like to review in Video game compare in real location, Just like RFOM in Manchester.

Note- Red font ? Well yeah obviously, it not actual ingame font, everybody knows that. That was added later by journalist in VCR tape as a description to give out to other test user in France and they are french so English is not their first language.
By all mean - it not official. I already mention that before and I state it in the description box in YouTube as well, Open your fucking eye and read it carefully.

Available in Dreamcast ? No it did not ! But it could have been though in later release date but again French journalist may have mistake there at that point. Seriously how do we know If Core Design going to release it on Dreamcast or not ? Dreamcast version has TR4 and TR5 and for what I know of is Core Design already had Dreamcast Dev kit in Core design studio during developing TR3 at the time.

TR3 in released 21 November 1998 and Dreamcast console released in 27 November 1998 in Japan. That seven days between. Even though Dreamcast console was released in Europe in October 1999 so I guess Core design scrap the idea releasing TR3 on Dreamcast version because it far too long to release it in Europe, instead they focus TR4 on Dreamcast in 1999.

1. I believe Core design scrap it, because Tomb Raider 3 already made so much sales on the PlayStation version and PC version !
2. And top of that it won't make much sales in Japan as TR Fanbase is low there in 1998.
3. If Core Design did release it on Dreamcast a year later in 1999 - I'm guess the sale would be very low in Europe because everybody bought the copy and already played it on PS1 or PC.

So we don't know for sure !

All hallows is after Thames Wharf, this was only in EARLY October builds. However, this is the final build so it's simply impossible, You skipped to All hallows and saved it so that level order was different. This is why he uses the load game feature, as any beta build automatically has all levels unlocked under new game especially on TR3.

Now, I really confused what you saying about All Hallow level ? I don't get it all what you trying to write there, maybe it because I'm lack of understanding in English

Yes ! All Hallow takes after Thames Wharf. I know that for years !

In final version of Tomb Raider 3, You only unlock All Hallow when you get 59 out of 59 secrets through out in the game and All Hallow levels will be listed under Meteorite Cavern in Main Menu.

As I stated a about Cathedral Key that unlock All Hallow In French Build.



This is another possibility that cause it.




Picking up the Cathedral Key and it mean All Hallow is now unlock but must complete the Thames Wharf level before the quit the game. All Hallow will eventually show up between Thames Wharf and Aldwych. Which is a sneaky thought by Core Design.



Notice the different in French build ? As far I know, the amount of secret is different and Cathedral Key is not registered as a secret stats but however it does have the chime sound.


The strange reason, Loading bars appears when Lara breaks through the platform in All hallow , Final build don't have that. Loading stream I guess !

Talking about Sprint animation, I'm not stupid. I know what the difference is. French build do not have it and your build does have it. What the sake in your argument ?

Your build just a big different to the french build.

Red reflection, again different build.

1. French build was recorded in brightest setting which cause reddish and shadow and has been highlighted too. Not to mention - it is been recorded from the VCR Tape in 1998.

2. On Playstation console, TR3 version is very dark and most user have to set up bright setting from the TV. I remember I have to do that same thing too because I was stuck on the very first level in the game that I couldn't see the lever switch that open the door.

3. You comparing your screenshot from your PC emulator against the screenshot in my video which is directly recorded form the playstation console and again it was recorded from the VCR tape too, so it twice as bright as it should be. I notice your screenshot has the highest resolution.

How Can I explain this legitimate build ? *sigh*

All I can tell you this. I never had this build and I told you that before. I had this footage on VCR tape somewhere in 1999 which I was been given as a collector in my days. That wasn't me who playing this French build. I clearly said that before.

1. This french build does the feature of climbing trees with the combat Knife - Combat Knife is not used for a weapon. However, doing climbing trees will result big glitch in game.

2. Freeze meter bar in Antarctica does not exist in French build

3. Pressing L2-R2-DPAD Down will Re heal Lara health in seconds

4. I can remember this build had one or two names changed in Jungle based level.

5. Also, as stated by the journalist. As this French build title is in English title as Tomb Raider 3 Adventure of Lara Croft. They found doc file in TR3 French build disc as written by Core Design as game title was going to be or planned to be Tomb Raider 3 Rebirth of Fear.

6. Some levels in game as pop up loading bar in certain check point like I showed the last screenshot.

Put this way Gh0stblade, Your build is just different to the French build and the thing I just listed in black bold highlight, If your build don't have that then it obviously two different build.

Your American Build has the beta feature that French Build don't have and French Build has the beta feature that American build don't.

Both build have fucking different region code as far I know.

I don't want to get involved in these kind of things, but if he indeed organized a fake RE1.5 sale, for whatever reason it was, he should deserve a ban. This kind of (repeated) behavior discredits the community as a whole. Imagine someone who's a serious collector, makes an account, wants to participate, maybe trade and ends up seeing things like that.

What's problematic is not his idiotic behavior in itself, but the repercussions it has on the community as a whole.

 

I said something very similar at the time. But i think this is a case of "better the devil you know". He's a known quantity at this point and we don't need multiple variants coming back under new guises.

Only your bullshit evidence you have is having screenshot from the video and that's it ! My Tomb Raiders beta video exist way before your video exist in the past. Decapitated is calling me out as a scammer, faker,liar, hacker or scam artist and whatnot. He has no proof of that. Where is the proof and why he didn't come forward soon as possible rather leave it so late ? He jumping conclusion just like that and bashing.

Also Decapitated has another account called Mr MisterNightMare on this site, there was a thread called "Take Care of Mister tNighmare" and they calling him a scammer and hacking into website server and trying steal the beta content, that thread had evidenced to back up with- included his name as Gh0stblade. So they banned him for good !

I think you don't really get it. If you indeed organized a fake RE1.5 sale, you deserve to be banned. Everything else doesn't matter. What do you have to say in your defense? Do you at least understand why it wasn't appropriate to do this? Why can't you just behave normally, get along well with other members and keep a good reputation? Depends what you like really, newer Tomb Raider which I not getting because it feels like Uncharted clone abit. Even I do (big fan) like Uncharted series a lot and upcoming The Last of us ... but Tomb Raider feel like cheap in certain way because of the gameplay style which I will get bored of it eventually.

Also another thing that bother me is, won't have the swimming exploration in the game like other Tomb Raiders does and that really takes out the fun of it. If you do like playing Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary and Underworld then You probably like the new upcoming Tomb Raider by Crystal Dynamic.

I prefer Classic Tomb Raiders (Core Design) because of gameplay which makes more fun and challenging. This is my opinion to it.

I wouldn't bother Preorder it because it not going to be like Call of duty sales... so I wouldn't worry about it.

Smart thing to do is wait for the review to see what their opinion on it and play the demo If it exist, otherwise you would be wasting your time buying and money on something that you don't enjoy.

So you getting Tomb Raider in stream download ? No it not worth 50 Euros. Get it on Physical disc with limited edition which is worth 60Euros and this would be good If it was a Christmas present for yourself or family/friends.

Do we know why the E3 96 demo for PS1 has no sound?. Earlier betas from late 95 had sound already. Can't see them just trying to keep file size down, unless they wasn't using compact disc to run it off.

 

It was used to demonstrate in Press conference in May 1996 with live show commentary by one of the Core Design developers , Sound was not added and there wasn't any issue to that. I did remember seeing and heard with TR soundtrack to it as well. Diary was discard but later added in Remake in Anniversary.

It's because the sound engine was not implemented into Tomb Raider until June 1996, any prototype before that has no sound.

 

Really. I'm sure I saw a few of early alpha/beta videos back in the day that had some form of sound at least. It was many years ago so I could be completely wrong but part of my mind is telling me I'm correct

I'm not judging your knowledge on the subject though.

 

If you are referring to the 1995 version there's an edited video with sound effects added floating around. No prototypes earlier than June 1996 have sound so i'm not quite sure what you've seen. Nevertheless, it seems interesting.

 

It's been way too long for me to remember exactly what it was but it's most likely the edited video/s you speak of that I saw. There does indeed seem to be a lot of interesting things about the TR series development stages. Think I'll start looking in to it a bit more when I have the time. Researching RE 1.5 seems to have dominated for the past 11 or so years... (Shit I'm getting old :nightmare
