Hello all, As far as I am aware, Tomb raider project eden goes completely unreleased on Xbox 1? I have obtained an Alpha I containing this game, the menus are very basic, but you are able to load a few levels etc, there is constant debugging info in the screen, a very interesting build. I did research this title, the company creating it apparently denied claims they were developing it for Xbox. Anyone know of any other builds of this out there? This is the first and only build I know to exist. I will try for pics in the next day or two if I get abit of free time. Thanks all. :thumbsup:
Wow, another Xbox find completely out of the blue. Very interested to hear more, is it definitely Chronicles as in the 5th game of the series as in pre Legend reboot?
Hello all, I will try and get a few pics up at some point soon, just hang in there with me for this. In the future when I have abit of free time, I may try and shoot a quick vid for you guys to look at. Metro Spy, no idea, on the launch menu its called project eden and when loaded, it says project eden at the top, so must indeed be this. It dates back to 2001. Over-all it is very basic, the menu is very very basic, the colours in maps certinately don't look right and there is constant debugging type info on the screen, you can select from a few different levels to have a play it though, it does seem quite buggy. Its a very interesting piece though, hardly any software out there for the Alpha kits, I believe this is the only build to exist, as I know abit more about the history of the company.
Just so you know, you should be able to take screenshots with a later software development kit, although you will likely need an older version of Xbox Explorer in order to back up the drive.
I'm confused, is this Tomb Raider Chronicles or is this Project Eden? Project Eden was a game made by the TR team and planned for release on the Xbox but eventually it was just released on PS2 and PC. Tomb Raider Chronicles came out a year before the Xbox launch and as far as i'm aware was never planned to be ported.
