the two images are from ff3. combats will be in 3d. Yeah i noticed that it made no sense, but you can't edit it. it's not made by nintendo.
WTF, Nintendo? Why 3d FF3 battles???? Even Sony managed to keep the old FF remakes 2d throughout them...
that's square's business, not nintendo's. Square asked for 2d , sony said yes, because it was square. Square Want 3d battles, nintendo don't give a F***.
is it me..or is nintendo really trying to go for that "older" demographic....there trying to shake that damm kiddy image
It's just you. If they really wanted the older demographic, they would stop doing the Mario/Pokemon crapfest that they have been dishing out for the past couple of systems and do some real games. Thought the thought of a Mortal Kombat style "Mario vs. Pokemon" game is appealing (anything that lets you decapitate Mario and/or Pikachu), it is going to take more than a Resident Evil game or two to improve their image.
i agree with RGGG, they're trying to change their image. But they can't kill want the franchises they've buildt for all these years either. Mature doesn't mean ''cuting heads'' or Killing Zombies. it doesn't mean pokemon either, we agree, but let's forget that a second. The favorite game of 90% of the young crowd is GTA, remember. And ask a 10 year old pre-teen what he thinks about Wind Waker, he'll certainly tell you that it sucks and that he likes GTA Better.
Fuck outta here. Little kids love fairies and blonde elves in skirts. That is a kiddie game right there.
excuse me, but my 7 year old little-cousin hates everything labeled nintendo '''cause it's kiddy!'' i mean, he is still a kid. Is favorite game is GTA by far. Little kids are insecure about their ages. Their parents always told them that they where too young to do this and that, so they'll start thinking that being older is funnier, and that you can do nothing when ''you're just a kid''. He'll then try to imitate older people.Just call a kid a kid, and he'll dislike you, or he'll tell you that he's Tall now, and that's he's not a kid anymore. Well, that's what he's trying to convince himself anyway. He won't play games that are labeled ''kiddy'', he'll try to do things that older people do, so he'll play games that are labeled for ''an old'' audiance. That's why most 5-11 year old kids are obscesed with blood and gore too. That's also why you hear about 11 year old girls wearing g-strings at school in TV debates. They do what ''older'' people do, to try to look older.
cahaz nailed it. It takes maturity to play and enjoy something labeled "Kiddy". The marketing departments of game companies know this. Thus they create Gangsta-GTA-Blood status symbols - sort of the McDonalds equivalent of "coming of age". More controversy brings more restriction, and thus makes it even more attractive. They use the system to mesmerize their true target demographic. Nintendo cannot simply stop producing titles that bring them good income to shake the image, but they can diversify their production. One type can help finance another, and thus create growth.
This kid is like any other kids. His parents are like any other parents.Wanna help me? exact, thanks for the completion.
Im glad Im at the age where I can play some Minish Cap, and then switch to Farcry (where they say the Big "F" a buncha times).
Yep, not all parents let their kids get games like that. My mom wouldnt let me get armored core after coumbine because the mechs had guns for christs sake!
then explain me why gta is so popular. Everyone says ''not every paretns are like that'' ,sometimes it's not the fault of the parent, but the fact is still there, About every kid owning an xbox or a ps2 own a gta tittle or play it at his friend's house. Most parents don't even know what these letters are for on game boxes. Still, they bitch about violents games on tv. But we all know that there's some parents that don't want their kids to eat candies, play at the park, play with video games and all.
my mother, wouldnt let me get alot of games, she was skeptical of games with a teen rating, even now, she is skeptical of my m-rated purchases, even though im still a year under the age limit, i havent been turned down yet.... ...oh and i made the mistake of teaching my mother what those letters meant......the first thing she looks for is the rating..........
Also coming for the DS is Contact, a RPG by Grasshopper, apparently manned by the same crazy bastard who did Killer 7. That one will be nice to watch out for. And Children Of Mana looks pretty good - hopefully it will be able to make up for the awful Sword Of Mana and Legend of Mana and get the series back where it used to be. The DS is certainly coming into its own, finally, and I couldn't be happier. The last three games I bought were DS titles (Castlevania, Trace Memory, and Lunar) and the upcoming lineup for the system constantly has me wiping drool from my chin. Plus, the newly announced online wireless network is nothing short of amazing. Never have I felt more vindicated as an early adopter of a system than with the DS; it's really satisfying to know that all the amazing titles promised for the system are now showing up. Now if only Cave or some other shmup developer would make a vertical shooter using both screens, I would die happy. Mushihimesama DS, anyone?
some people its a hit, others a miss, depends on who you talk to, but i seen at walmart they have it for $18.64 which is cheap, couple other good gba games for that prioce too
