They just announced an animated show coming to Disney channel in 2012. And the movie is amazing, one of the very few that is worth seeing on the big screen.

I thought some parts of the movie were kind of interesting and some parts of the movie kind of lame. But overall I would still say the experience was positive.

One thing to note: If you see the movie in Digital 3D, make sure you sit close to the screen so that it covers as much of your peripheral vision as possible. If you don't do that, you'll find that the 3D effects will be *significantly* reduced. It's about the only time when moving to the front area of the movie is actually better seats than the back.

I sat in the back and enjoyed the 3D. Maybe I'll try it a bit closer. I saw Avatar way too close and the 3D clicked for about 10 seconds 3 times in the movie.

Hrm... I think it has to do with the movie material and distance. If the movie material has very little depth, then the farther you are from the screen will reduce that depth you get in 3D. Because any 3D you perceive must be within the viewing area on screen. Any slight depth change will look tiny on an already tiny screen while any big depth changes will stand out more, but still be scaled to the size of your viewing area. Essentially, if your not getting the 3D effect as much as you think you are, your probably too far away from the screen (IMHO).

EDIT: This applies more to Digital 3D showings because IMAX 3D usually has a much wider view screen.
