I just downloaded the retro core satun shooting special today and when I tried to play it in media player, I didn't get a picture. I'm pretty sure its supposed to be there but it isnt. Its like the magical picture fairy died from the heat coming out of my processer and its dead picture fairy carcass wasn't emitting any more picture magic. Actually I think it has something to do with the video codec. Anyone have a solution for me. oh and sorry for that extremely random rambling in there...thats the 6 cans of mountain dew talking.
Does Sounds like a codec problem to me Have you got the k-lite codec pack? If not, then get it, it'll have pretty much everything you'll ever need: http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/ Note: I'm not certain if that version is spyware/shitware free. download at your own risk.
I burnt them into DVD+RW and watch on DVD player. and being +RW you can erase and burn with the next episode... it beats to watch on the big screen lying on the bed...
yea... that's what I was planning but at the moment would have to wait - probably I wouldn't have time till xbox360 anyway...
The show needs XVID codec like all the other Retro Cores so it should work if you've seen the others. Yakumo
You don't need XviD specifically for playback - any MPEG-4 codec (DivX or whatever) should be able to play it back. Personally I'd recommend ffdshow. On another note, that K-Lite codec pack has broken QuickTime on my PC for ev0r. And I found the installer/uninstaller most annoying - the worst part being that you could only uninstall the whole codec pack, not just one codec - not to mention there's a lot of stuff there most people will never need. Codec packs are teh evil -_-
