I want to know what your guys are. TV shows that generally if known about are pretty embarassing. For me its The Wonder Years and Dawsons Creek. Wonder years never got a dvd release so I torrented that but I did own all the seasons of Dawsons Creek on dvd until I torrented them and sold them. I remember watching Dawsons creek when I was like 6 or 7. Singing ALONG with the theme song.
Always found the title of that show funny. In the UK 'Mentalist' is a commonly used insult, a bit like calling someone crazy or retarded. i.e Oh my god you're such a mentalist.
Food Network. Except now AT&T has taken it off U-Verse unless you program your DVR to record the shows through the online TV guide. Thanks!
Okay, there is nothing wrong with Cops or The Wonder Years! haha For me, probably Korean dramas... xD
I'm going to be honest my TV guilty pleasure is watching family sitcoms. Yes Dear, According to Jim, Everybody Loves Raymond, Home Improvement, etc. etc. Sure some of them are probably terrible, but it's something to do on a lazy day or for background noise while on the computer. Don't judge me. =P
Everybody Loves Raymond, Home Improvement? Terrible? I love those shows! I didn't know they were on any level of shows that are considered guilty pleasures. I'm biased towards shows I like though. So Yes Dear and According to Jim...yes, those are terrible ;-)
I don't watch as much TV as I once did so much of this list are past guilty pleasures. Bewitched - It's 90% for Elizabeth Montgomery, but it still counts! Eerie Indiana - One of my favourite shows as a kid and still love it! Quantum Leap - See: Eerie Indiana. Dad's Army - This probably has a lot to do with the awesome intro music. The Powerpuff Girls - Two words: Mojo Jojo. The Apprentice (UK) - Can't...stop...watching. Come Dine With Me - Food + egos = fun. Property Ladder - Haven't seen this in a while but started watching for Sarah Beeny and discovered a hidden interest in property development. Last but not least...anything on TV featuring Nigella Lawson, although I haven't watched her recent series. There's always the Christmas specials though...
Nothing to be guilty about with Dads Army! That said I like a few things that would be considered guilty pleasures by other people - I just like them though, don't get why people criticise them. ie 'Allo 'Allo, Last of the Summer Wine, Cheers, Due South.
Dawson's creek and Beverly Hills 90210 (the 90's one). I used to work afternoons and do my masters' research in the very earliest hours of the morning, and I'd keep the TV on to stay awake. And during 3 years of graduate work, I followed them both every day, and saw them complete at least two times (they were on Monday through Friday).
I really like the 1980's sitcom "Perfect Strangers"...Balki Bartokomous never fails to make me laugh hysterically.
Ghost Adventures. Dude! Did you feel that bro? Whoa! Dude! I just saw something, man! Duuude, something just touched my butt, bro!
