If I remember correctly, Obama has voted for funding the war until 2006, and he is using the same strategy in Afghanistan as Bush did in Iraq, sending more troops to supress the rebels.

Talk is cheap, it is still open. And if it do closes, you can bet that messiah president of yours will just send them somewhere else, thus eradicating the problem in Gitmo.

 

Although as a president Obama might seem impressive, as a lawyer that he is he's just typical (albeit in a good way). I will give him credit for actually giving a shit for his office however, he seems to take his position seriously unlike Bush for example.
