Inspired by the free Namco demo disk site, I have secided to create the free stuff thread. I know there is a lot of crap on the internet that offers free I-pods, Psp's, and Jesus's autograph and such, so I would prefer if no referal sites or sites requiring credit card numbers be posted. Also I will post the Fraud Eliminator status, ip adress, e-mail adress of where your information is going and anything else useful. If anyone else wants to do the same, be my guest. so without further ado: http://www.namco.com/motogp4_event/signup.php another free demo disk from namco Fraud Eliminator status- ok Info sent to-http://www.namco.com/register/namco_registration1.php ip adress- 157.238.213.10 site registered to-Namco Group
found another one! sphinx demo http://thq.com/Sphinx/ <- click the top right part of the screen where it says free demo or something like that Fraud Eliminator- ok Info sent to- don't know, its in a flash player ip adress- 65.255.207.10 registered to- THQ and sorry phantasystar for being defensive. Its late and I had a long day
Found a few free magazine links that might interest you guys. Be careful though; you are likely to get killed with spam mail. computer gaming world: https://reg.vugames.com/home.do?sku=72208&src=WSREG electronic gaming monthly https://reg.vugames.com/home.do?sku=72216&src=WSREG game developer http://submag.com/sub/gd?wp=free&tc=1&pk=GAMA12 all checked and all good. Thats it for tonight though. I am going to bed, maybe more tommorow !
This is a great idea. Especially if we can keep an eye out for frauds and there is no credit card required. I was having some trouble with the sphinx demo though. After I enter my address info and click continue it just gets stuck on a loading screen. Anyone else have this problem? Maybe I need to adjust a browser setting or something. (using ie 6.0, don't have firefox yet...)
I did it 3 times to see if it would ever get any farther... I'll let you know if I get a few extra discs in 6 weeks or so (although I'm sure it's one per household anyway)
Same to me. By the way, the magazine thing, the EGM is an electronic email subscription, so no actual psysical magazine, but the CGW is the actual mag, just no disc. Still awesome! This thread is a really good idea. http://www.sanfordcorp.com/sanford/consumer/jhtml/research/survey.jhtml Free Sharpie! About the Game Developer thing, what should we do about the like, company name an djunk, lol lets make us look like a legit company by all putting down the same thing.
Yeah, that's what surprised me about the Namco demo disc (the one with the Xenosaga 2 and Ace Combat 5 trailers, with a playable demo of Katamari). They actually sent it to Mexico. In a white envelope, with a regular postal stamp. Generally, no free anything gets shipped to Mexico.
Hmm it looks like I am getting the same problem with the sphinx demo. I hope it still goes through though!
It accepted my UK address for the Namco demo at the start, not holding out much hope, but would be nice if they did the same as with Xerdo and sent it overseas.
Hey, if you go to www.Nintendo.com and register 3 things (I did GameCube, GBA SP and the girls GBA) you get 3 free issues of Nintendo Power, wheeee doggy.
hahahaha, well, they sent me an email for Mario golf and it said something like, "SLAM BIG BANANA BALLS WITH DONKEY KONG" and that sounds disgusting so I deleted it.
bewarned...vugames HAD spyware on it...and i talked to some people on a freebie web thingy and they said they never got their mags in the mail
I got my PlayStation and Computer Gaming World from that, the catch is it takes a LONG ASS TIME for them to get to you, the CGW doesn't have a disc, and the EGM is an electronic subscription, pretty much just PDF's. The OPM magazine was just like a regular subscription though. I dunno what you mean by spyware? I didn't get any, in fact I've never really gotten any emails from them. What you mean?
