totally looks like! but still isn't http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMxq7UDB9aU at the end of the vid the demo starts and the "insert coin" text isn't on the same place or maybe is the loss of Sync that doesn't show, no really, is not the game the music is not the same and the board of Thunder Dragon (listed in http://foulweb.free.fr/jamma/index.php?static/PCB-T ) is not the same at all, browsing that web i've found some lookalike boards but not the one i have Zero target: http://foulweb.free.fr/jamma/public/pcb/zerotrgt.png Robokid: http://foulweb.free.fr/jamma/public/pcb/robokid.png Firetrap: http://foulweb.free.fr/jamma/public/pcb/firetrap.png Firetrap is the one that look the most but is not even a game of flying things. is there the possibility that i may have an rare or clone (or both) PCB? it was taken out from an generic cabinet with a generic monitor with a very blown out generic PSU, it may worth something
If the board isn't the same then it could happen to be a bootleg of Thunder Dragon. Bootlegs usually have lots of chips on them, sometimes on more than one layer connected by those huge flat cables. If there's no company name or distinctive serial on the board, I'd be suspicious of its authenticity. The graphics are similar (i.e. the coastline) enough to erase any doubts if you ask me.
The bootleg of Thunder Dragon does not have the same music as the original... try it in MAME and see if you recognize it.
My money is on bootleg too, and it seems somebody sacrificed a Firetrap PCB for it, if that is even possible.
AMAZING!!!!!! was Thunder Dragon bootleg!, that music! so many memories, i've got this board from a frien when i was 12 or 13, thanks so much to everybody who helped it totally made my day, i could listen to that music all day
