Unreleased Game: Saint's Row: Money Shot

This is a semi-finished product that was suppose to be some kind of curve the bullet game. There are tons of objectives to do, but you don't have to finish them all in one shot. I don't know if there is any hidden things in the game's files, as I have no clue how to mod Saint's Row 3 files. The files are out there now, so go grab them!

 

Wow, that looks... awful. Maybe it was gonna be side missions or something in which case it wouldn't be so bad.

I've had this for ages, it leaked out before SR3's release. The files can't be shared here though because it's current gen. It was meant to be released on XBLA/PSN, and then just on PSN, and then nothing. It was even rated official in Australia i believe so it was very close to being done, but nothings ever been said about why it wasn't released.

 

I just recently got it, and only found 1 video that was SD, so decided to record it in 1080p. I know the files can't be shared, that's why I said the files are out there.

 

Looks like a game where you control a fish.

 

Actually, this isn't DLC for any Saint's Row game. There was one released for Saint's Row 3, but that was like a skin and whatever. This was suppose to be a full fledged XBLA game. It's an interesting concept, but I don't see it being that good of a game. lol

I've played this, not half bad. Problem is it stuck some achievements on my official account that was on my RGH console and now I can't remove them to upload legitimate achievements. :/

If anyone knows how to remove them let me know, not remotely interested in adding unearned achievements.

Definitely a unique concept. However, I can imagine it getting pretty repetitive, gameplay-wise.

 

Indeed, fun for the first level since there is so much to do. From what I've played, the rest of the levels is just the second level over and over again.

I think you just have to remove the GPD from your profile or something like that. I'm not entirely sure as I'm not interested in gamerscore. I'll look into it.

 

If this was meant for XBLive, would it work on a standard 360 or only a Dev kit?

 

Sorry, only on 360 consoles that can run unsigned code such as JTAGs, RGH and development devices. This game was far from done because they didn't even have a martketplace banner, they used it from their ATV games. xD

You're probably best off just re-downloading a clean profile from Xbox Live. If you use the "dirty" profile with the Money Shot achievements, you'll likely get banned.

This game went through multiple revisions before it was canned. Sounds like someone decided to leak a PartnerNet build since THQ went under. I would guess that any rights to the game belong to Deep Silver now since they bought the Saints Row IP from THQ.

If that's the case, then it sounds like the build which was leaked was a very early one. Screens from the game and the marketplace banner were leaked (and posted all over the major gaming sites) back in 2011, along with the game's official description. This was before Saints Row 3 shipped, when Money Shot was supposed to be a free, pre-order incentive.

 

It was leaked via PartnerNet, or that was the general theory. It was meant to come out before or around SR3's release in November as a tie in, the leaked version is dated June. By completing it you were supposed to unlock the Money Shot pack in SR3, but when it was delayed that pack tied in with the Prima guide and they were just going to release the game for free possibly exclusive to PS3, but nothing happened so it's pretty much canned.
