Kewl deal. I like that stuff.

    Similar things:
-There's a video on the OLD Sonic Team PSO site. They show a lot of stuff like enemies that only show up in Forrest 2 in Forrest 1, some shit from the caves in the Forrest, and a totally different (rather crappy) city. Video quality is awful considering it comes from Sega.

-I can't believe nobody has downloaded the Saturn Chelnov video. Yeah, it's a lame game, but I thought everyone here lived for beta stuff. :)

-Something I paid way too much for:

    A little off topic...

I remember downloading some videos of Silent Hill 2 before it was released in the US that included footage that did not make it into the game. One was the pyramid head dragging a body algong the floor and I think holding it up like he was trying to tear it in two.

Does anyone know if there was an early beta with different scenes, or any other info on scrapped ideas for the game? In truth, I found SH2 to be disspointing compared to the first one. I guess I am hoping to find evidence that it was taking a more frightening/interesting direction in it's early stages.

Sorry to go OT, but am I the only person who liked Silent Hill 2 more than Silent Hill? (and Silent Hill 3). I never liked Silent Hill when I first played it...though with Silent Hill 2 I fell in love with it immediatley ^_^ And Silent Hill 3 was just kinda lame to me.

nice page!, there is some interesting info on that website... I wonder why devloppers don't put the beta codes and/or levels on the final products as kind of 'extra' for the fans.

    .

Hey, I played this game on the Mega Drive, I think it's pretty cool. Do you have the Saturn beta?

if you don't like it, don't click the link. But anyway... I've just put together a small page with early screenshots and information about Pokemon Gold and Silver. It's not finished yet, some things may be wrong, quite some shots are missing but i'll hopefully get all that done tomorrow...

    Re: .

Yes, I do own a beta of this game.
It's kind of a turd... but one that not many people have, so I'm kinda proud of it.

Cool Yakumo! those early VF pics reminded me of something.

I think i have a edition of UK's SEGA POWER talking about a 32X port of Daytona USA.

    Gonna have to check.

There are quite a few more pics of that VF1 stuff. The www.virtuafighter.com (a place where my post count is way to freakin' high) crew generally knows. Before the release, there was a middle eastern character called "Shiba" and there was no Akira. Other differences were mainly names. Kage = Yagyu, Sarah = Sara, Jeffry = Dural, Lau = Yao.

Creed is a nice guy, and has a scan of just about any VF media ever printed. (I'm sure shots from this mag as well) If you wanted some for segagagadomain.com, he could probably help out.

Yeah, sorry sayin999, I had to delete the VF History movies to make space on the FTP for newr movies. Talking of which, there's a new "Yakumo home made" movie coming soon. Last week the wife and I went to see the Sakura trees. While there she had this crazy idea of having her dog do some sort of guide for all of the guys here at ASSEMbler. So what we have is a video of the Sakura trees with the dog giving a commentary :smt017 Well, it's really my wife but anyway, moybe worth a download. I know that Importaku has seen the MPEG 2 version that I made. Yet to find out what he thought of it though :smt043 I'm encoding the AVI DIVX version now.
