Unreleased Satellaview Kirby Games

Some Unreleased Kirby Satellaview games have come up for sale in Japan. They are on a Battery backed BS-X cart.

I don't believe these are unreleased, just difficult to find given the distribution/saving method.

 

Poor choice of words on my part.They've never been dumped and aren't available any other way.

 

Oh hoh hoh please. Satellaview games really tickle my fancy. They are just so obscure and seemingly poorly documented. I only found out about that BS Sim City recently...

Seems that he crowdfunded (?) and that they won the auction for the first game? So that seems to be good news!

They are all done now. If anyone has a way to look at a user's completed listings the seller has sold heaps of Satellaview Games and Super Famicom Nintendo Power games.

 

So they were on the Satellaview service? What other BSX games are undumped?

 

Once we have everything, they'll be posted on SNES Central/Eludevisibility/Satellablog.

Great news, I had no idea there was much left for the Satellaview to be found by this point.

I thought @LuigiBlood was the go-to guy for Satelleview things.

 

Yeah. Dumped = preserved. Not dumped = hoarding / losing forever in my book. People should take notes and learn from this.

 

The annoying thing about Satellaview is dumped sometimes equals "the game half of it minus the streamed media stuff that could be lost to time".
They're a bite to dump too.

 

That is a shame, at least some people recorded the experience, but the truth is for a lot of these we'll never know how they were intended to be. Sucks cause it was such a cool idea for the time.
