Hmm, I'd be wary of this one. Why would the guy have not tested these unlabeled games? That's the first thing anyone would do if they had what could potentially be Unreleased Saturn games. Even if the guy can't play these discs on a Saturn he could simply pop them in to a PC and read the text files (Can't remember the name of them) that EVERY Saturn and Dreamcast game have which gives details of the game and maker.

erm hes got a sophia system as well.... hes giving it free if it auction reaches $350.

It seems a nice way to get rid of total junk thats not working for a nice bit of cash.

Isn't Corpse Killer the only game in that stack that was announced but unreleased?

No, it came out in Japan under the name of Heney's Adventure. It's complete crap. Very low rez' textures make the game look very poor.

Corpse Killer came out in the US as Corpse Killer: Graveyard Edition.

No idea what Cop Killer is. Maybe it was just a mistake in the translation.

Okay, so the next obvious question:

Were any of these unreleased games unreleased in the traditional, literal, and only sense of the term I can imagine? Seems I've seen all those games on the shelf at some point.

If you are talking about the auction... yes all the ones with titles were released in the US. The only two in question are Golf and the US Gold title. The others you never know. :smt017 I'm watching it now and might bid if it stays cheap.

    Clever ploy

Just don't spend too much on it, I figured it was a bunch of worthless coasters from the beginning...

They're probably just factory rejects. If any of you do purchase them, be sure to compare the TOC (table of contents) with an official disc.

Ok, I'm out of the running now since it's over $100. I think someone needs to bid and hold them to their auction title, "Unreleased Sega Saturn Games + free development system". The title makes it seem like you get a free system... even though if you read the full description it's only free if it goes over $350.

I had him send me pics, they are just loose usa games, buyer beware, he mentions in the auction that they MAY NOT be betas.

The seller is a good guy though, I hardly think he would try to rip anyone off.
You might know him from AtariAge forums....he is a game programmer with released commercial games on C64, NES, SNES, Atari 2800, Atari 800 etc etc....

    o_O

I dunno, the auction title Unreleased Sega Saturn Games + free development system sure sounds suggestive to me...
Especially when all the "Unreleased Sega Saturn Games" turn out to be "just loose usa games"... the "free" development system hook aside, NO assortment of loose us games is worth $100.

    check this out

Thank you for your interest and your bids on my recent eBay auction
'Unreleased Sega Saturn Games + free development system' URL
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8121600379

I was contacted roughly 30 minutes before the end of the auction and during
our correspondence it became clear to me that the CDs I was offering were in
fact pressed CDs distributed by SEGA for review, but not CDRs burned by SEGA
as claimed. The distinction wasn't clear to me until the auction was almost
    over.

Due to the short amount of time avaiable before the auction ended (less than
20 minutes) I decided to let the item run (I did not feel I had enough time
to safely cancel all bids), and then write to all bidders and indicate that
the item has been withdrawn from sale. I couldn't amend the item
description -- eBay won't let me do that so close to the end.

I incorrectly responded to a question -- which indicated they were CDRs,
when in fact they are CD-ROMs. This was an inadvertent error. I will wear
the eBay fees, nobody will have sent me any money -- and that's about the
best I can do. My apologies for the embarassing goof .

    Cheers
    A

How do you confuse CDRs with pressed games?
