The Legal Practice Course. It's a practical course for trainee solicitors here in the UK. You are allowed to work as a solicitor subject to having passed the LPC. They teach you many skills , including how to negotiate deals, "haggle", how to treat your customers, how to draft legal letters, basic accounting and other day-to-day lawyer skills. for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_Practice_Course
No TC I take it..otherwise they'd be paying! (Where are you doing it btw..if its London drop me a line..I was at the College of Law Store Street). Anyway, can chip in for site, just shout!
Where are you studying? A friend got offered a place at BPP (London) and I'm sure it was hitting £15k all in.

Us regulars wont notice, and I dont think the guests who only visits once every so often will really be too bothered about it either. Judging by the traffic, there should be no problem getting $10,000+ / year by just showing an advert/banner to the guests. Shiggsy
Or create an affiliate account with online gaming outlets and post the links in a sticky. Whenever anyone is buying, we can just use your links and you take the commission on the sale... Places like Success-hk run this kind of service and I'm sure there's others out there too. If you're interested, take a look here; http://www.superufo.com/pp/affiliate.asp
I m doing mine at Chester, although I still live in Liverpool ( I ve grown attached to it I guess after 3 years). Wheela, have you completed your LPC? Where are you practicing? drop me a PM if you wish not to make a public reply. iestyn: was he doing the Bar Vocation Course (BVC) or the LPC? The reason that I didn't choose London is mostly because I can't afford living there for now - and with my schedule, there's little to no time for an 8-hour job.
She was going to do the GDC (is that the conversion for a non law degree?) and then the LPC I think. I worked 8 years in a Solicitors office (in IT) so I know how hard the schedule for trainees is, I dread to think of the training plus a job which is certainly needed to study in London.
